Lifes 3x5s

About Lifes 3x5s

Tim Larson and Liz Wylder begin with a little about their show location and then what’s written on a single 3 x 5 index card. It can be ANYTHING and the conversation can go ANYWHERE. It’s amazing how a single word can somehow connect the most extreme topics. Buckle up.  Life’s 3x5s podcast is an unscripted and very unpredictable conversation between two longtime radio friends from a completely different location each episode. They decided that more time in a studio was just not adventurous enough. So far they've done this podcast in a cornfield, at an airport, in the middle of a farmer’s market, inside a shipping container, in a museum, at a famously delicious restaurant, in a 1927 theater and a state park lodge. If you’d like to offer a conversation topic suggestion or contribute to the Tip Jar in support of this podcast, go to www.lifes3x5s.com. Also enjoy photographs from each location!

S5 E10 When All Else Fails at OLSON SWEDISH HERITAGE PARK

Often Liz and Tim will just pick a nice place in the area and set up camp for a show. The shelter at Olson Swedish Heritage Park was ideal. Storms had just passed through and more were on the way, but it didn't matter. Then the equipment failed eight ways to Sunday. Three days later, they went back to the same spot to do it again! You'll hear the first show segment at the very end. If you can stomach your way through the technical fuzziness, you are welcome to it. It's full of different stories. April 16, 2026
