I never thought I’d become a runner.
I definitely never thought I’d become a distance runner.
In this episode, I’m sharing how running slowly worked its way into my life — from being the moody teenager who used it to process emotions, to the postpartum mom walking longer and longer distances, to jogging from one driveway to the next, running my first 5K, falling in love with race day, and eventually training for my first half marathon.
But this episode is about so much more than running.
It’s about what happens when you stop treating who you are today like it has to define who you’ll always be.
It’s about learning to pace yourself, building confidence through small challenges, trusting the process, and realizing that sometimes the version of you who can do the big thing is built one tiny step at a time.
Running has become one of the places where I process, pray, challenge myself, and learn what I’m capable of — and looking back, I can see how every version of me helped build the runner I am today.
If there’s something you’ve been telling yourself you’re “just not the kind of person” to do, this episode is your reminder to stay curious about what might be possible.
You don’t have to see the whole path yet.
Just find your next driveway and start there. 🤍

You Don’t Need More Motivation — You Need Self-Trust
We talk so much about motivation — how to find it, how to keep it, and how to get ourselves to finally follow through.
But what if motivation isn’t actually the thing you’re missing?
In this episode, I’m diving deeper into self-trust and why learning to believe your own word can be so much more powerful than waiting to feel motivated.
We’re talking about following through on small promises, building confidence through action, learning how to adjust without quitting, and getting out of the mindset that you need another perfect Monday, another fresh start, or another Day One.
Because real consistency isn’t about never getting off track.
It’s about knowing how to come back.
It’s about making the next choice.
It’s about creating enough evidence over time that you can finally say, “I trust myself to keep showing up.”
If you’ve been feeling stuck in a cycle of starting, stopping, and waiting to feel ready again, this episode is for you.
You don’t need to change everything today.
You just need one promise you genuinely intend to keep — and the willingness to come back to yourself when things don’t go perfectly. 🤍

It Was Never the Big Things: The Basics That Changed My Life
I’m back — and for my first episode back, I wanted to talk about something I’ve been reflecting on a lot lately: what has actually made the biggest difference in my life over the last few years.
And honestly, it wasn’t one big change.
It was the basics.
The small habits. The simple choices. The mindset shifts. Learning how to keep promises to myself, build self-trust, come back after falling out of routine, and stop believing that real change has to happen all at once.
In this episode, I’m talking about the domino effect that happens when we stop chasing perfection and start building a lifestyle one small decision at a time.
We’re getting into habits, mindset, wellness, self-trust, consistency, starting again without shame, and why the “boring basics” can end up changing everything.
If you’ve been feeling like you need to completely overhaul your life, this episode is your reminder that you probably don’t.
You may just need to find your first domino.
Start there. Keep building. Keep becoming.
And thank you for being here for this next chapter of the Lifestyle Refresh Podcast. 🤍
