Steve Campbell continued the "Rooted" series by urging the congregation to be "Rooted in Obedience." He opened with a prayer and then focused on John 14:15‑24, explaining that Jesus’ final words to the eleven disciples reveal that love, faith, and obedience unlock special privileges, including the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Using a personal story about assembling an entertainment center, Steve illustrated how following clear directions—whether for furniture or for God—prevents frustration and leads to success. He emphasized that true obedience springs from love for Jesus, not merely fear or duty, and that this love‑obedience relationship invites the promised Paraclete, the Holy Spirit, to guide and empower believers for greater works. Finally, Steve called the listeners to trust God, hand over their lives, and live a life rooted in obedience that can withstand the challenges of the modern world, pointing to the promise that those who obey will see Jesus again and share in His future glory.

Rooted — Week 5
In this fifth week of the Rooted series, Pastor Danny invites the congregation to examine the source of their convictions. He anchors his message in the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego from Daniel 3, showing how deep spiritual roots produce steadfast convictions that survive cultural upheaval. Danny explains that true conviction is formed long before a trial, pointing to the men’s earlier resolve in Daniel 1 and Daniel 1:8. He challenges believers to say a respectful “no” to the world’s demands without compromising love, illustrating how the three youths refused to bow yet addressed King Nebuchadnezzar with reverence. The sermon contrasts mature faith that trusts God regardless of outcomes with immature faith that worships only when conditions are favorable. Finally, Danny calls the church to be salt and light—living faithfully in a culture that opposes biblical values—while remembering that the ultimate aim is faithfulness to Jesus, not cultural victory.

Rooted — Week 4
In this fourth week of the Rooted series, Pastor Danny Cox invites the congregation to consider what it truly means to be rooted in community. He reminds us that following Jesus was never intended to be a solo journey, pointing to the early believers in Acts 2:42‑47 who devoted themselves to fellowship, shared meals, and prayed together. Using that vivid picture, he challenges the church to move beyond simply occupying rows on a Sunday morning and to become a people who are known, loved, and actively support one another. Pastor Danny emphasizes that genuine community requires intentionality and sacrifice. He highlights the word “devoted” in Acts and the example of believers selling their possessions (Acts 2:45) to meet each other's needs, urging us to practice generosity, vulnerability, and accountability. He weaves in Hebrews 10:25’s call not to abandon meeting together, Proverbs’ wisdom that “iron sharpens iron,” and James 5:16’s instruction to confess sins to one another, showing how Scripture repeatedly calls us into deep, relational discipleship. The sermon concludes with practical steps—joining life groups, inviting friends, and opening our homes—so that the church lives out the same life‑sharing love of the early church each day.
