About Lift Your Leg - the art of training a dog

Two dog trainers, Monique Anstee from The Naughty Dogge and Jill Brown share raw conversation as they preserve the art of dog training. With different dog experiences from different venues of herding, IGP, CKC and AKC obedience, in addition to training pet dogs, they will share ideas, tackle challenging subjects like dog reactivity and aggression, fear, stress, while bringing in a historic perspective. Their goal is to help you both understand your dog better, and help you train your dog, while simplifying training in the process.

[…] Exactly. But I totally fall in love with every puppy I see, or almost every puppy. I've only had now three border collies, but two border collie puppies. Having said that, though, I've raised in board and trains and stuff like that. I've worked with way more border collies and border collie puppies also. And I would have to say that a young little border collie to me feels like molding clay. Would you agree? I feel like that. Like you can just carefully, gently twist them and turn them into any shape that you want them to be. And they can become that. It's kind of incredible. At some point, like in the working element of it, at some point their individuality comes out and you realize like, oh, wow, this is a tough dog. you know, this one is very forward, you know, it's a little more stubborn.
