Hosts Chris Clements and Sean Noble cover politics, culture, and the intersection of faith, freedom, and free enterprise. “Agree on something.”
LIGHT BEER - Christopher W. Clements (Chris) is the former Vice Chairman and CEO of Golden Eagle Distributors, Inc. For nearly 75 years, Golden Eagle served as a family-owned, Arizona-based wholesaler for several major national brewers including: Anheuser-Busch-InBev and Sierra Nevada. Golden Eagle was sold to Phoenix-based, Hensley Beverage Company.
DARK MONEY - Why pay attention to what Phoenix’s Sean Noble has to say? Well, for more than 20 years, a pretty elite cast of characters has been doing just that. His observations and ideas have impacted politics and public policy across the nation, from his home state of Arizona all the way to Washington, D.C. Sean is a founding partner of DC London, Inc., which provides political, public relations, and public affairs consulting services.
Polls, Polls, and More Polls: Who to Believe and What to Predict? (Audio)
With less than three weeks until Election Day, Chris and Sean return to Light Beer | Dark Money for a deep dive into the polls, predictions, and pivotal races that could determine the balance of power in Washington and across the country.
From Texas, where Sean boldly predicts James Talarico will defeat the deeply flawed Ken Paxton, to the battle for control of the U.S. Senate, the forecasts couldn't be further apart. Nate Silver's projections give Democrats better than a 70% chance of flipping the Senate, while other pollsters see a Republican resurgence, particularly in Michigan and New Hampshire.
Closer to home, Chris and Sean examine Arizona's increasingly competitive congressional races, where Juan Ciscomani and Jay Feely appear to be running stronger campaigns as Election Day approaches. It's a reminder of a timeless political axiom: Candidates matter. Across the country, Democrats could flip reliably Republican seats simply because Republicans nominated poor candidates. Meanwhile, Arizona's governor's race and other statewide contests are shaping up to be extraordinarily close.
So... who's right? What can we believe? And are the pollsters missing the voters who will ultimately decide this election?
Chris and Sean focus on the real wild cards: the undecided voters, the everyday Americans—the normies—who are too busy raising families, running businesses, and living their lives to obsess over every political headline and polling fluctuation.
With Election Day fast approaching, the stakes couldn't be higher. The pundits can pontificate, the pollsters can prognosticate, but ultimately the voters will decide.
The future of the Republic is on the ballot.

Adrian Fontes: Same Arizona Roots. Different Politics. One Good Conversation. (Audio)
They’re the same age. They grew up in small Arizona towns. And one of them leads an organization that sued the other.
Sean Noble sits down with Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes for a candid, surprisingly personal conversation on Light Beer Dark Money. They’ve taken different political paths, but share a connection to Arizona—and a belief that disagreeing shouldn’t mean we stop talking.
Fontes recalls what pushed him into politics: the hours-long lines during Arizona’s 2016 presidential preference election and the haunting story of a voter struck and killed by a car after casting his ballot.
Then there’s 2020. Biden won Maricopa County by roughly 40,000 votes. Fontes lost his own reelection by fewer than 5,000. Sean asks the obvious question: If you’re supposedly stealing an election, wouldn’t you remember to give yourself the win?
From there, they tackle something bigger than either party: why America works. The ability to settle our differences at the ballot box and transfer power peacefully creates the stability that allows businesses to grow, universities to thrive, and people to build a future. Power comes from the people—not a family bloodline or whoever commands the biggest army.
There are real disagreements here. There’s also humor, mutual respect, and a reminder that you can end up on opposite sides of a lawsuit and still enjoy sitting across the table from each other.

Fathers, Grandfathers & the Fight for America (Audio)
Chris and Sean return to the Big Show, and this one gets personal fast.
Chris is celebrating his daughter’s 13th birthday. Sean is celebrating his daughter’s 23rd. That opens a reflective conversation about fatherhood, the consequences of absent fathers, and the role grandparents and extended family play in shaping who we become.
For Sean, his grandfather had an even greater impact than his father. For Chris, his Armenian grandfather framed his understanding of faith, struggle, resilience, and the Armenian Genocide that claimed members of his own family.
From there, the conversation turns to radical Islam, its growing presence in American politics, and figures like Abdul El-Sayed. Chris and Sean also examine a recent message from Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps urging American voters to reject Trump’s policies ahead of the midterms—and ask whether Democratic leaders will clearly disavow that intervention.
The guys close with polling errors, the economy, and the basket of goods working Americans actually feel every week: gas, groceries, beer, and the real cost of living.
A personal and provocative discussion about fatherhood, family, faith, politics, and the country we’re leaving to the next generation.
