Prayer, candles, saints, and deep love for Our Lady of Guadalupe. But at the same time, many are also exposed to beliefs like mal de ojo, limpias, tarot cards, zodiac signs, and other spiritual practices that are not part of Catholic teaching.</p><p><br></p><p>So where is the line between faith and superstition</p><p><br></p><p>In this video, I talk about Catholic teaching versus superstition, mal de ojo and evil eye beliefs, tarot cards, astrology and zodiac signs, limpias and folk spiritual practices, and devotion to saints like Saint Anthony of Padua.</p><p><br></p><p>This is not about attacking Mexican culture.
