Dating Red Flags, Boundaries & How to Know They're the One
Just because someone is a Christian doesn't automatically mean they're the right person for you. So how do you know when a relationship is worth pursuing, and when it's time to walk away? In this episode, we're having an honest conversation with Jethro and Denise about Christian dating, relationship red flags, physical boundaries, intentional dating and choosing a life partner. They share their love story and what they've learned about faith, compatibility, friendship, romance and the qualities that matter when considering marriage. We also explore whether Christians sometimes overlook important warning signs because they believe someone is a godly partner. Can Christian dating be fun? How do you maintain physical boundaries? And what does it really mean to date with marriage in mind? we also tackled:
1. How do you know if God wants you to marry someone?
2. What are the biggest red flags in Christian dating?
3. How far is too far physically in a Christian relationship?
4. How do you know if someone is a godly man?
5. What does dating with intention mean?
6. Can Christians date for fun?
7. How do you know when to break up with someone?
8. Can two Christians be spiritually compatible but wrong for each other? etc If you're single, dating or considering marriage, this conversation is for you. What's one piece of dating advice you wish someone had given you earlier?

The Stay At Home Dilemma: “I Love My Children, But What About Me? Identity, Purpose & Starting Again
What happens when you leave a successful corporate career to become a stay-at-home mom and years later realize you're ready for something more? In this episode of my Stay-at-Home Mom series, I sit down with Helena to talk about the parts of leaving a career for motherhood that we don't always talk about: identity, financial independence, purpose, being present with your children, and figuring out who you are when one season of your life ends and another begins. Helena shares what it really cost her to walk away from corporate life, what staying home allowed her to experience with her children, and how she knew when it was finally time to explore something beyond motherhood. We also talk about how The Makeover Place was born, becoming an entrepreneur after being a stay-at-home mom, and how she now protects herself from recreating the same busyness she once walked away from.
If you're a stay-at-home mom wondering, “What comes next for me?” or a working mom questioning what success should look like in this season, I hope this conversation reminds you that your life can have many beautiful chapters. In this conversation:
• Leaving a corporate career to become a stay-at-home mom
• Losing financial independence
• Identity after becoming a mother
• Being present during your children's early years
• Knowing when you're ready to work or build again
• Starting a business after a career break
• Motherhood and entrepreneurship
• Redefining success after children
• Finding purpose beyond your previous career
💬 QUESTION: If you've ever taken a career break for motherhood, what was the hardest part of the transition for you and did your definition of success change? Subscribe for more honest conversations on motherhood, marriage, family, finances and building a meaningful life.

From Career to Stay Home Mom to Building a Business While Staying Present With The Children.
What does it actually look like to leave corporate, become a stay-at-home mom, homeschool your children AND build a thriving business from home?
In episode two of my Stewarding the Stay-at-Home Mom Season series, I sit down with Diana Kagimba, founder of Ruby's Gift Store, to talk about the life she has intentionally built around motherhood, family and entrepreneurship. Diana shares why she walked away from corporate life, how she and her husband navigated moving from two incomes to one, the reality of adjusting to being home full-time, and why she eventually chose to homeschool her children. But her story didn't stop with staying home. While raising and homeschooling her children, Diana built Ruby's Gift Store and eventually created systems that allow the business to function without requiring her presence in every day-to-day operation. We talk about how she balances homeschooling, business, marriage, home and herself; what she has had to say “no” to; raising confident and independent children when you're a very present mother; and why she believes children don't necessarily need us less as they grow older, their needs simply change. We also explore a bigger question:
What does it mean for a woman to be fruitful when fruitfulness isn't always measured by a salary, promotion, degree or business? Whether you're a stay-at-home mom, homeschooling mom, working mother, entrepreneur or simply trying to build a life around what matters most to you, I hope Diana's story gives you something to think about.
