Zalla ist zurück! Dieses Mal spricht sie mit Barbara über ihre Arbeit bei Little Green House - und dies als Mutter von zwei Söhnen also gewissermassen mit doppelter Praxiserfahrung.
Mit ihren beiden Jungs hat Zalla unterschiedliche Erfahrungen in der Kinderbetreuung gemacht. Deshalb steckt hinter «Partner to Parents» für sie weit mehr als ein hübscher Konzeptname. Sie weiss selbst, wie viel es bedeutet, sich als Eltern verstanden und gut aufgehoben zu fühlen. Auch an den Tagen, an denen man beim Bringen schon das Gefühl hat, einen ganzen Arbeitstag hinter sich zu haben.
Und «Living Languages»? Gehört in Zallas mehrsprachiger Familie zum Alltag. Wir hatten da so eine leise Ahnung, dass ihr dieses Konzept am Herzen liegt.

#27 : Marine Machado : sortir des cases – et pourquoi pas ? – une histoire de famille, faire grandir une équipe en période de turbulence
Cela arrive dans tous les métiers : on se fait certaines idées sur ce que les personnes de notre profession font ou ne font pas. Marine, par exemple, avait toujours pensé que les travailleurs sociaux ne travaillaient tout simplement pas dans le domaine de la petite enfance.
Marine est un très bel exemple de ce qui peut arriver lorsque l’on remet ce genre d’idées en question. Après avoir quitté Paris à la recherche de davantage de nature et de montagnes, elle a trouvé son chemin jusqu’à Little Green House - et, depuis, trois générations de sa famille ont rejoint, chacune à sa manière, l’univers de Little Green House.
Dans cet épisode, Marine raconte comment elle est arrivée chez Little Green House, ce qu’elle aime le plus dans son travail, et ce que cela signifie de rejoindre une équipe et un site en pleine période de transition - avec tous les défis, les surprises et les récompenses émotionnelles que cela peut apporter.

#25 Zalla Zebad: Ein neues Leben lernen: Zallas Weg zwischen Flucht, Schule und Zugehörigkeit
Diese Woche trifft Barbara Zalla, eine unserer deutschsprachigen Erzieherinnen, deren Lebensgeschichte so bewegend wie aussergewöhnlich ist.
Zallas Weg begann in Afghanistan und führte sie über Pakistan als Flüchtlingskind nach Deutschland - undschliesslich in die Schweiz. In diesem ersten Teil ihres Gesprächs erzählt sie von Flucht, Armut, Kulturschocks, nicht-unfreundlichen Menschenschmugglern undPolizisten, und davon, wie es war, in Deutschland zur Schule zu kommen, ohne jemals zuvor lesen oder schreiben gelernt zu haben - und ohne ein einziges Wort Deutsch zu sprechen.
Vor allem aber ist es ein Gespräch über Mut, Optimismus und Widerstandskraft. Darüber, wie man in unmöglichen Situationen Hoffnung behält, sich in einem neuen Land zurechtfindet, Vorurteilen und Fremdenfeindlichkeit begegnet - und wie seltsam und schmerzhaft es sich anfühlt, alles richtig gemacht zu haben und trotzdem immer wieder als Aussenseiterin behandelt zu werden.
Dies ist die erste von zwei Folgen. Zalla kommt wieder und erzählt weiter.
