About Little Oasis: Guided Meditations — A Tiny Retreat for Hearts Big and Small
Welcome to Little Oasis: Guided Meditations—a Tiny Retreat for Hearts Big and Small.
May each of these guided meditations be an invitation for you and the Littles in your life, or your own inner child to experience connection, playfulness and rest as we pause, breathe, and bring awareness of the nearness of Jesus.
In these tiny retreats, we learn to notice — to see beauty in the ordinary, to engage our five senses and to rest in God’s love that surrounds us.
May we all learn that rest doesn’t need to be earned but that it is a sacred necessity.
We are absolutely delighted to journey with you!
Sometimes our hearts carry things that feel heavy.
Worries about someone we love.
Sadness after a hard day.
Questions without easy answers.
Memories that keep coming back.
Or simply feelings we don’t quite know how to name.
In this gentle Little Oasis guided meditation, children and grown-ups are invited to take a peaceful walk around a beautiful lake, noticing the steady presence of God with every step. Along the way, they’ll imagine releasing one “stone” at a time—offering their worries, sadness, questions, and burdens into God’s loving care as each stone creates gentle ripples across the water.
This calming meditation reminds us that we were never meant to carry every burden alone. Through slow breathing, peaceful imagery, and moments of quiet reflection, listeners are invited to rest, to notice God’s nearness, and to remember that they are deeply loved and never alone.
Perfect for quiet moments or anytime your heart needs a little oasis of peace.

Episode 21. Resting in the Meadow (Bedtime Yoga Nidra)
Settle into a peaceful meadow where a little lamb rests nearby, the breeze moves gently through the grass, and the Good Shepherd watches over all with loving care.
Designed as a companion to The Meadow Path, this family-friendly bedtime Yoga Nidra meditation invites children and adults into a deeper experience of rest. Through gentle body relaxation, peaceful nature imagery, and comforting words inspired by Psalm 23 (The Passion Translation), listeners are guided into a place of calm, safety, and restoration.
As the flock rests in the meadow and the Shepherd remains near, families are reminded that they do not have to carry every worry alone. This soothing meditation encourages slowing down, releasing tension, and resting in God’s presence.
Perfect for bedtime, naptime, quiet time, or any moment when tired minds and bodies need a peaceful place to land.
