<p>"Not lagging behind in diligence" is more than a call to work harder, it's an invitation to faithfully serve the Lord with energy and purpose. Proverbs contrasts this kind of life with the sluggard: someone who loves comfort, makes excuses, and continually delays what God is calling them to do. Yet God's grace offers a better path: honest repentance, faithful obedience, and the joy of serving Him with diligence and fervor.</p>

<p>Romans 12:10 calls believers to a radically different way of living: not seeking honor for ourselves, but eagerly looking for ways to honor others. True honor recognizes the God-given value of people and expresses that value through our thoughts, words, and actions. Rather than competing to be noticed, appreciated, or served, Christians are called to outdo one another in showing honor, following the example of Christ, who loved us first and gave himself for us. Romans 12:10 invites believers into the only competition where everyone wins: honoring one another.</p>

Because Christ has broken down the barriers that once divided people, we are called to love one another with genuine devotion, accepting one another, bearing one another's burdens, and building one another up. We're not in a club, we're in a family. As members of God's family, we reflect the love and unity that Christ has shown to us.</p>
