The Gospel of Mark: Authority in Action | The Priorities of Jesus' Kingdom
It's good to worship together. Even if it's from home.
In Mark 9:30-50, Jesus pulls his disciples aside and teaches them what matters most in his kingdom. He points them to the cross and resurrection, redefines greatness as humble service, warns them not to become stumbling blocks, and calls them to live with urgency about sin and peace with one another.
This sermon invites listeners to examine what they value most. If Jesus' priorities are truly our priorities, then the gospel will shape how we think about salvation, how we treat people, and how we respond to the spiritual battle around us.
