Cádiz revert back to normal 2026 mode and put in an insipid, characterless performance in Granada to not only lose the game but also lose another manager as Alberto Celades was sacked following the defeat. We try not to dwell on the game too much as we work out if Borja Jimenez is the right man for the job or is the poisoned chalice too much for any person to deal with. Will anyone else upstairs ever take or be held responsible? As always a round up of the news and a very brief look at the visit of Ceuta this weekeend. Cádiz Vs Sporting (GW9 26/27)
Another reality check with a painful ending as Cádiz lost in a game that was an absolutely nailed on nil nil. It would have been a decent point and we have to try and take the positives from a relatively solid performance but its hard to when it finishes like that! We talk about the decision to start Moueffek after last week's heroics, benching the birthday boy Doue and what exactly does Alvaro Garcia Pascual do in training to keep getting on the pitch on match days. The usual preview of next week's trip to Granada and a round up of all the news round off this weeks episode. Cádiz Vs Leganes (GW8 26/27)
A win! Three Points! Four goals! Where did that performance come from? We'd seen some signs but nothing to prepare us for a game of that nature. Colossal performances from Marc Doue, Tony Lamb and many more including a one of the best debuts we've seen in a yellow shirt from Aiman Moueffek. It was a genuine relief to finally talk about a win in such positive terms. We babble on about the victory for quite a while but did manage to preview the visit of Sporting on Sunday and round up all the news including the stadium naming debacle!
