Living on the Virg is a lifestyle podcast rooted in real life, real conversations, and evolving interests.
What started with a love of reality TV and pop culture has grown into a broader exploration of wellness, food, wine, travel, and the everyday choices that shape how we live. You’ll still hear reflections on the reality-TV sphere and cultural moments—but with more perspective, intention, and depth.
Each episode blends:
lifestyle and wellness reflections
food, cooking, and intentional eating
wine, travel, and local experiences
pop culture and reality TV as a mirror for real life
honest conversations about growth, boundaries, and pace
Some episodes are light and observational. Others are more reflective. All are grounded in curiosity, experience, and living a little more intentionally—without pretending to have it all figured out.
This is a space for curiosity, reflection, good food, good wine, and honest conversations about how we’re really living. Welcome to Living on the Virg.

First Crushes, Slow Dances & the Songs That Stayed
Some songs bring back a person. Others bring back the version of you who loved them.
Virginia returns to the music that helped her imagine love, navigate first crushes, laugh at an unforgettable Barry Manilow mismatch, and find her strength after heartbreak. From Ambrosia and Player to the Originals and Gloria Gaynor, these are the songs that became part of her own story.
First, a little Life on the Virg: feeling stronger, enjoying small wins, protecting an unhurried morning, and discovering the satisfaction of lowering household expenses.
What was your first slow-dance song? What did you play when your heart got broken? Virginia wants the story that comes with it.
Plus birthday love for Matthew and her daughter-in-love, and a tease of the Tacos & Tequila outing coming next.

When Family Traditions Change, We Make Room
You raise your children to build lives of their own—and then discover you’re still learning how your own life fits into
the family they’re building.
This week, I’m talking about changing holiday traditions and the monthly Sunday family breakfasts that are giving us
a simple way to stay connected. A full house is wonderful, but smaller gatherings have their own kind of closeness.
Then it’s Travel on the Virg: Ben and I revisit Santa Anita Park and Clearman’s North Woods Inn in San Gabriel to
celebrate 30 years since we got engaged. There’s a cigar mishap from the original day, a personalized crossword, an
anniversary dessert, and a piano player’s kindness that I still remember from my earliest days as a mom.
We finish with Reality on the Virg and my 90 Day: The Last Resort tell-all wrap-up—including the Rebecca and Zied
conversation and my promised verdict on Ross Mathews as host.
What new tradition is becoming special in your family? Listen, share this episode with someone navigating a
changing family, and follow Living on the Virg wherever you listen or watch.

Paso Robles, New Friends & a Change of Plans
A grandbaby sleepover, a beach stop, a wine-country getaway—and a few changes that made the trip even better. I’m taking
you from Nana’s house to Pismo Beach and Paso Robles, where a local recommendation and some new friends opened the
door to experiences we hadn’t planned.
We’re talking Cypress Beach House, dinner at Catch and The Hatch, and my honest takes on Eberle, Opolo and Torrin.
There’s a standout Zinfandel, a favorite Syrah, and a cocktail I want to recreate at home. Then it’s Reality on the Virg with the
first two episodes of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City: Mary’s moving scenes, changing relationships, and what it takes
to move forward after an apology.
Have you ever changed your travel plans and ended up with a better trip? And what stayed with you from Salt Lake City’s first
two episodes?
Content note: The RHOSLC conversation includes bereavement and discussion of substance use.
Follow Living on the Virg wherever you listen, and share this episode with a friend who enjoys travel, wine and Housewives
conversation.
