About Living to Be: A podcast by Reino Gevers

LivingToBe explores what happens when inherited beliefs no longer carry the weight of lived experience. Through reflective conversations and grounded spiritual inquiry, each episode engages the deeper questions that arise when life no longer fits old certainties. This is a space for those who sense that meaning, faith, and purpose cannot be reduced to doctrine or belief alone — but must be discovered through experience. Especially in the second half of life, LivingToBe invites a shift: from fixed beliefs about identity, life, and purpose to direct engagement with the sacred within.

How do you reconcile with your inner child? That's a great question. And no one asked me that reconcile with your inner child, you know, by being there for them, right, by really showing up every single day by regulating the nervous system because the inner child pattern lives at the level of our nervous system so we want to commit to daily nervous system regulation and again people often say oh my gosh there's just another thing for me to do well guess what five minutes a day is already plenty because you're consciously showing up for your nervous system where that inner child lives and you're creating more capacity and more safety at that level of your being And then every single time that child wakes up and says, Hey, something's wrong.
