EP 25: The Ivy Grove
Emily of “The Ivy Grove” drops by the LKLD | EDGE to speak all things art!
Born in Lakeland, vintage-inspired artist, Emily Patterson shares how her art makes people feel at home with that touch of nostalgia! Drawing upon the likes of Old Florida, ranch land, swans, nature and landscapes, and the coast, her use of charcoal strikes something deeper in others.
We discuss her process, when she began, where she sees herself moving forward, and we also dive into art as vulnerability and the more recent contention of AI being art… or not.
