LMC Cast: The Dog Foundation
In this LMC Cast interview, we learn more about The Good Dog Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to improving health and well-being through the therapeutic power of the human-dog bond.Through its training and deployment programs, research, and community partnerships, Good Dog brings trained therapy dog teams to people who can benefit from comfort, connection, and companionship.Good Dog is also part of our local community, with therapy dog teams frequently visiting the Mamaroneck Public Library. The organization will soon be featured on LMC Kids in Season 3, helping young viewers learn about the special connection between people and dogs.Interested in getting involved? LMC Cast: Community Profiles St. Michael Angels
In this LMC Cast interview, we sit down with the founders of Saint Michael’s Angels, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting children and families facing childhood cancer.The organization was founded in memory of a Rye Neck Middle School student who lost his life to cancer, turning a heartbreaking loss into a mission to help other families facing similar challenges.We also talk about the organization’s close partnership with Fat Stu’s All-American Burger, whose co-founder John Stubenvoll has helped support the work of Saint Michael’s Angels.
