Tune in each week as Andy and Kev embark on a cinematic journey through their top 100 favorite movies of all times. Each week they work through their personal top 100 films of all time — a living, shifting list shaped by rewatches, arguments, nostalgia, and regret. One film per episode, asking why it mattered then, why it still matters now, and whether it truly deserves its place. Opinionated, funny, occasionally serious. For people who don’t just watch films — they live with them.

We're back out on the patio at the bar this week as Poppy joins Andy and Kev again to discuss the OG of computer animated films, Toy Story. What will Kev remember from the first time watching it and will anyone remember Finn's...Spike's....no Sid's name?
Does it stand up to a 2026 viewing, is it still or was it ever the best Toy Story and will it finally explain why Poppy doesn't have a brother?! What toys do we all wish could come alive now and does Poppy have a better pitch for a film? One thing's for sure, you know All Dogs Go to Heaven will still be brought up!
Join us as we talk through #54 on Kev's favourite films of all time, 1995's Toy Story

S02 E46 - #55 Robin Hood Prince of Thieves
Joining Andy and Kev at the bar this week is their resident Malcolm McNab expert, not seen since The Burbs. Who knew these 2 films were connected by a session trumpet player but Danielle is very eager to confess just how much she loves 1991s Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. Andy starts badly, asking if Kevin Costner has any chemistry with his co-stars and Kev agrees that it's about as much as Tom Cruise and Christian Bale seem to have with each other (or maybe wires got crossed.)
They talk about the impact of this film kicking of the 90s, the ever present song connected to it and just how much Robin actually does in the movie. Would this film be better if you just watched the second side of a double sided DVD? Listen in as we discuss #55 on Kev's favourite films of all time.

S02 E45 - #56 Who Framed Roger Rabbit
Pull up a stool at Cocktails and Shattered Dreams as Kev and Andy celebrate reaching their 150th podcast episode milestone. In this episode, they dive into film #56 on Kev's top 100 list: Robert Zemeckis’s 1988 Oscar-winning live-action animation landmark, Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
Armed with Harvey Wallbangers and Double Bourbons, the duo breaks down why this 80s PG classic remains a groundbreaking feat and why it traumatized an entire generation of kids. They cover how Mickey Mouse and Bugs Bunny could appear in the same film and Steven Spielberg's part in it. How great Bob Hoskins is and how no one else could have replaced him, not even Harrison Ford. Does this film really count as a horror with The Dip providing 2 of the most gruesome deaths from their childhood. Does Jessica Rabbit stand up to modern audiences? No, but it's still fun to watch!
