If there's one thing you should know about Kate & Annie Meyers— two 20-something sisters living in NYC— it's that they love to talk. On "Long Story Short," they'll talk about it all, from reality TV & pop music to politics and everything in between.
Tune in for weekly conversations on the silly stuff and the serious stuff as the Meyers sisters navigate finding joy amidst the craziness of our world today.
This week, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Kate and Annie are joined by their best friend Lexi, who shares her story of being diagnosed with breast cancer at 28 years old, just 3 months before her wedding. Lexi talks about the importance of speaking up and advocating for your health, especially as a young woman, and her mind-boggling experiences with the insurance industry. She also gives advice on the best ways to support a friend dealing with a new diagnosis, and shares some important statistics about breast cancer.
If you listen to any episode of our show, we hope it's this one! We are so grateful to Lexi for coming on and sharing her story, and we hope that it inspires all of our listeners to be proactive about their own breast health.

Bridezillas, Booty Shorts and Bad Jokes
This week on Long Story Short, Annie & Kate dive deep on their favorite vintage clothing pieces (aka the ratty old shirts they've somehow owned since 2012), their Dancing With the Stars disappointments, and the toxic pre-wedding content taking over Kate's TikTok FYP. They also speak on Shane Gillis and Pete Davidson's recent controversial comments and agree that taking cheap shots at women isn't, actually, funny at all!

Harry Styles, Hamilton Wigs, and Horrible Men
On this week's episode, Kate chats about her weekend plans which involved dressing up as Hamilton on a Bachelorette party, Annie talks about her brave night out in the Nor'easter that ended... interestingly, and finally, they discuss the recent bone-chilling crimes that were committed on campus at Cornell and the general hopelessness they feel writ large about men in this country. Other topics include sit-coms worth watching, the horrors of normalized fraternity hazing, and Kate's nostalgia at the Harry Styles concert.
