Rockstar Just Changed GTA Modding Before GTA 6 — This Could Be HUGE
Rockstar Games just introduced new modding guidelines, and the timing—right before GTA 6—could have major implications for the future of GTA mods, FiveM, roleplay servers, and creator-made content. But there's an important distinction:Rockstar has NOT simply banned GTA mods.Instead, the company is establishing much clearer boundaries around what creators can modify, how multiplayer content operates, what can be monetized, and where that creator economy is allowed to exist.Rockstar's current support pages still point players toward its policies for single-player and Story Mode mods, while Roleplay servers are explicitly allowed through Rockstar's Creator Platform as long as they follow its guidelines. And after Rockstar brought the FiveM/Cfx.re community closer into its ecosystem—and is now officially supporting projects like nopixel V—the direction starts becoming very interesting. Rockstar says roleplay and creator communities have expanded the possibilities of GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2, while nopixel V is now being supported through the Rockstar Games Launcher. So what does all of this eventually mean for GTA 6?In today's Looking For Party Podcast, we're breaking down Rockstar's new modding rules and the much bigger question behind them:Is Rockstar protecting GTA…or preparing to take control of the GTA creator economy?🎙️ TODAY'S DISCUSSION🛠️ What Rockstar's new mod guidelines actually say🚫 Why this is NOT simply a “GTA 6 mods banned” story📖 Restrictions involving Rockstar stories and characters💰 Why monetization is such a major part of this conversation🌐 The future of FiveM and GTA roleplay🎮 Rockstar's Creator Platform strategy🖥️ What all of this could eventually mean for GTA 6 on PC🤔 Creative freedom vs. an officially controlled creator ecosystemRockstar officially allows RP servers through its Creator Platform, while continuing to provide policy guidance for single-player and Story Mode modifications. That makes the bigger story much more interesting than “mods are dead.”The modding community isn't disappearing. Rockstar appears to be defining exactly where that community can operate. And after seeing how modders, streamers and roleplayers helped extend GTA V's life for more than a decade, that could become incredibly important whenever GTA 6 eventually develops its own creator ecosystem. And here's the bigger question:Would you rather have officially supported GTA mods with more restrictions—or the Wild West modding community we've had for years?Let me know in the comments.🎙️ LOOKING FOR PARTY PODCASTGTA 6 • Rockstar Games • Nintendo • Gaming News • Industry Discussion • Deep Dives • Reviews • Creator CultureIf you enjoy gaming conversations that go beyond the headline and talk about why these stories actually matter, hit LIKE, SUBSCRIBE, and turn on notifications.Every great adventure starts when you're Looking For Party.#️⃣ Searchable hashtags#GTA6 #GTAVI #RockstarGames #GTAMods #GTA6Mods #GTA6News #GrandTheftAuto6 #GTA5Mods #FiveM #GTARP #GTAOnline #RockstarCreatorPlatform #GamingNews #PCGaming #Modding #GamingPodcast #LookingForPartyPodcast #DarthSpriggan

Nintendo Direct 9.9.2026 Was a LETDOWN | Metroid, Persona, Kirby & Mega Man Saved It
Nintendo Direct 9.9.2026 is over, and despite some fantastic announcements, I walked away feeling like this was one of Nintendo’s weakest major Directs in recent memory. There were absolutely some highlights.🔥 Metroid Ravenous🎭 Persona 6 & Persona 4 Revival⭐ Kirby and the World Beyond🤖 Mega Man: Dual OverrideBut outside of those standout moments, much of this 45-minute Nintendo Direct felt dominated by ports, Nintendo Switch 2 Editions, updates, returning games, and announcements that didn’t deliver the kind of momentum I expect from a major Nintendo presentation.Nintendo officially revealed Metroid Ravenous, a brand-new 2D Metroid adventure launching January 28, 2027 exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2. The Direct also revealed the new 3D adventure Kirby and the World Beyond, confirmed Persona 6 and Persona 4 Revival for Switch 2, and showcased Capcom’s new Mega Man: Dual Override. So here's the important distinction:There were good games in this Direct. There just weren't enough good Direct moments. In today's Looking For Party Podcast, I'm breaking down what worked, what didn't, and why having a strong collection of games doesn't automatically make for an exciting Nintendo Direct.🇯🇵 日本のNintendoファンの皆さんへ!今回の「Looking For Party Podcast」では、Nintendo Direct 9.9.2026を振り返ります。『Metroid Ravenous』『Persona 6』『Kirby and the World Beyond』『Mega Man: Dual Override』など素晴らしい発表もありましたが、今回のNintendo Direct全体については少し物足りなさを感じました。 2🪙 LootBarSave on gaming top-ups, currency, and more:https://lootbar.sjv.io/R0EkVa👉 Check out Hollyland here:https://shenzhenhollylandtechnologycoltd.sjv.io/gRQr65📱 GearUP MobileImprove your mobile gaming connection and reduce lag:https://gearupapp.pxf.io/1GzabRhttps://linktr.ee/DarthSpriggan?utm_source=linktree_profile_share&ltsid=cf677d1c-9bfa-4e28-874f-940523aa0b5dMy Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/posts/welcome-to-darth-160362526?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=postshare_creator&utm_content=join_linkMy Guide To Starting Out as a Livestreamer 👉https://darthspriggandigital.etsy.com/listing/4368654410Subscribe for daily Nintendo news, Switch 2 coverage, gaming industry analysis, and podcast discussions.
