Brian and Alice thought they were going to a cousin's cheesy yet costly destination wedding somewhere in Ventura County. Next morning the brother and sister found themselves nobles in 1810 England in a castle on a cliff. While Alice could see herself enjoying life as a Jane Austenish Lady of the Manor, the same forces that brought them back in time, neglected to bring Brian's insulin. So now to get back home, Brian has to get someone to marry him. Only problem, he's a diabetic addicted to street theater histrionics, and the pressures of a dwindling insulin supply do not make him appealing such that the three ladies that have been assembled do not find him particularly attractive, or even sane. Will he find true love before the insulin runs out? Or at least find someone who will say yes? And will Alice, the clever one, rouse herself from her post-divorce blues and be able to figure the mystery of how they got there in time to get them back home? And will she remember what her maid did with her hair if they do make it back? It’s fabulous.

Lord Latimer's Ladies. Chapter 32. Wearing Another Dress AKA The End?
In earlier chapters, we meet siblings Brian and Alice Latimer. Having gone to sleep during a dark and stormy night, they have awakened in 1810 England. They begin to adapt to their new life and search for a bride for Brian (Brian’s job) and a way home (Alice’s job). Brian is informed that he must marry a local lady to get back home, and Brian and Alice meet three ladies at breakfast, and after it does not go well for anyone, Alice chastises Brian who promises to try and make up for his behavior at breakfast. Brian’s first apology, after a rocky start, goes surprisingly well. Alice continues to explore and pry and makes some discoveries. Brian’s second apology goes well too. Alice then meets an earlier introduced chatterbox who provides a significant number of clues, as Brian meets a Lady far less charmed. Then, Regency society is introduced to female power pop music as the Ladies and Alice find a common bond through music, as Alice Introduces then to her band Cone of Magic and its album Maidens Rock (actually on Spotify and lots other places.). Brian and Alice come up with a daring plan to save themselves, and in set the plan in motion by meeting the cook. Next, Brian again wrestles with his clothes and Brian and Alice solve a clue. Then, the siblings and the ladies, finally meet at dinner and converse. As the Ladies learn more about Brian, and diabetes, Brian makes a universal proposal to all. Brian chooses a bride and goes to sleep confidant of waking up in a time when insulin is freely available. Brian then awakes to find himself in a land and time free of insulin, but at least has someone new to talk to. Brian realizes something important and tells Iris. Alice manages to leave the Castle, Carl, despite the mysterous Mrs. Downs, the housekeeper. Meanwhile, the ladies are intorducted to Carl, the sentient castle. Meanwhile, Alice travels to the village to hear a tale,while the people and the house learn a game. Alice hurries the the castle to tell what she has learned. Once there she is assertive with Mrs. Downs and shares what the has learned from the Old Coot.In this this the final episode all is revealed.
