We also break down the gameplay differences between Grace and Leon, discuss the crafting systems and combat mechanics, and debate whether first-person or third-person gameplay works best for Resident Evil.
If you're a fan of Resident Evil, survival horror games, or deep gaming discussions, this episode is for you.
Lost In Nightmares is back. After years away, Joe Dubs and Zach return to horror gaming with a full catch-up, a comeback plan, and a deep dive into the Resident Evil 9 trailer.
We talk what we played during the hiatus (Silent Hill 2 Remake, Conscript, Phantasmagoria 2, Silent Hill 4, Code Veronica), then break down RE9’s biggest trailer moments — Leon’s condition, the strange child, Sherry’s appearance, the new pursuer-style monsters, and what it all could mean for Umbrella-era lore.
We wrap with our 2026 roadmap: RE9 coverage, RE4 Remake (finally), Dead Space Remake, Crow Country, Signalis, Silent Hill (PS1), and Condemned: Criminal Origins.
