Lou’s Views

About Lou’s Views

I'll sit down with my closest friends and rant about our favourite films, what we like/what we don't like, and have a general discussion. 1000% includes foul language... but it's funny. Each film/TV show has its own series here for clarity. Overall podcast show is an 18 due to language and certain aspects that make it such, but not everything is an 18. Make sure to read the description before listening/watching, as any content warnings will appear there!

So… SPOP has come off Netflix. What does this mean for the queer community?

Melissa and I sit down in this episode to discuss our thoughts on She-Ra leaving Netflix, and what exactly this means for the Queer community. Foul language ahead, and many side quests too.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief - Lou’s Views!

I sat with my darling Cousin to fangirl about one of our favourite films: Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief. The film is over a decade old, but spoiler warning in any case :-)

So… She-Ra is no longer on Netflix.

I, along with the majority of the queer community, are devastated at this loss. I understand that Netflix aren't completely at fault. Contracts expire, and licenses get too expensive. No matter whose fault it is, the fact of the matter remains. She-Ra is gone. It no longer has an easily accessible home. Certainly not all episodes. So what effect does this have on the queer community?
