Love is messy. Lies are everywhere. And the truth? It’s usually NSFW.
This is where we unpack relationships, sex, situationships, and the bullsh!t people pretend not to talk about. Unfiltered opinions. Brutal honesty. Zero fairytales. Just real-life love, lies, and all the other sh!t in between.
How much of your life have you spent wishing your body were different?
Smaller here. Bigger there. Smoother skin. A flatter stomach. A different face. A different shape. As though you could finally give yourself permission to feel good once your body became something more acceptable to the world.
But what if your body was never the problem?
In Episode 10 of Love, Lies & Bullsh!t, we're talking about body image, the beauty standards we've internalised, and the ways we've learned to criticise the very bodies that carry us through life.
We're questioning where our insecurities came from, how comparison has shaped our relationship with our appearance, and why we sometimes treat our bodies with a level of cruelty we'd never dream of directing at someone we love.
And no, this isn't about forcing yourself to love every inch of your body every single day. You don't have to wake up feeling gorgeous, adore every reflection, or pretend you're comfortable with everything you see.
Sometimes, the journey begins with something simpler: stopping the war with yourself.
What if you could care for your body without constantly criticising it? What if you could appreciate what it does for you without making its appearance the measure of your worth?
Your body is allowed to change. Your feelings about it are allowed to be complicated. And your worth has never depended on how closely you fit somebody else's beauty standards.
You deserve to feel at home in your body—not because it's perfect, but because it's yours.

Loving Yourself on Your Ugly Days
Can you still love yourself when you don't particularly like the person you see in the mirror?
When you're not feeling beautiful, when life feels like it's passing you by, when you've disappointed yourself, or when you're struggling to be the person you thought you'd be by now?
It's easy to talk about self-love when you're proud of yourself. But what about the days when you're your own biggest disappointment? The days when you don't feel good enough, when your confidence disappears, and when being kind to yourself feels like the last thing you deserve?
In Episode 9 of Love, Lies & Bullsh!t, we're talking about loving ourselves on the days when it's hardest to do so.
Because self-love cannot only exist when we're winning. It has to make room for the messy days, the uncomfortable feelings, the disappointments and the versions of us that haven't quite figured everything out.
We're so quick to celebrate ourselves when we're thriving, but how often do we extend that same kindness to ourselves when we're struggling?
What if you didn't have to feel beautiful to be worthy? What if you didn't have to be productive to feel valuable? And what if having a difficult day didn't mean you'd somehow failed at loving yourself?
You don't have to romanticise every struggle or pretend to love every single thing about yourself. Sometimes, self-love is simply choosing not to be cruel to yourself when you're already having a hard time.
You are still worthy on the days you don't feel your best. You are still deserving of kindness on the days you don't particularly like yourself. And you don't have to earn the right to treat yourself with love.
🎙️ Love, Lies & Bullsh!t — Season 2, Episode 9.
Let's talk about self-worth, self-compassion and learning to hold ourselves with love—even on the days we'd rather hide from the world. ❤️🩹

The Audacity to Want What I Want
Who taught us that wanting more was something we needed to apologise for?
More love. More money. More pleasure. More freedom. More opportunities. More peace. More life on our own terms.
Somewhere along the way, many of us learned to shrink our desires to make them more acceptable to other people. We downplay our ambitions, feel guilty for having standards, and convince ourselves that wanting certain things makes us greedy, demanding or unrealistic.
But what if wanting more isn't the problem? What if we've spent so much time worrying about what other people think that we've forgotten to honour what we truly want?
In Episode 8 of Love, Lies & Bullsh!t, we're exploring the guilt that comes with wanting more, the pressure to make our desires smaller, and the courage it takes to choose a life that genuinely feels good to us.
Because gratitude and ambition can coexist. You can appreciate what you have and still desire something different. You can have standards without being unreasonable, and you can pursue more without apologising for who you are.
You are allowed to want what you want. And you don't have to make yourself smaller to make your desires more comfortable for other people.
