The application of these 12 steps in my life as a way of life. and the relationship with a higher power that comes out of that application. And that way of life is a way of life where drinking isn't necessary. It's a way of life where I can turn off the self-talking mind, where I can be relieved of the bondage of self. So alcohol relieved me of the bondage of self for a very long time. And now I need a new method of living. Alcohol is not a good method for me anymore. And so that's what the 12 steps are. […]
