A Model on Prayer
<p>There are so many things to learn about the life of Jesus, and one key thing we can learn from Jesus life was how he modelled excellence in prayer.</p><p><br></p><p>Jesus understood something about prayer that needs to be re-emphasied in this time and age. He understood that he was limited in his understanding and what he thinks he knows and so to do the things that God will have him do, he needed to pray.</p><p><br></p><p>Maybe the reason why we struggle with prayer is because a part of us is dependent on self and there's still traces of pride in our lives</p><p><br></p><p>To do all that God will have us do, we have to pray!</p><p>To be bold and courageous in God's will for our lives, we need to pray!</p><p><br></p><p>In this episode, Miss Simi spoke about how Jesus is a perfect model in which we can learn excellence in prayer from, and she also shared insights on some of the things prayers does to us and in us.</p><p><br></p><p>Have a great listening!</p>

The Greatest Model
<p><strong>Put a finger up if you've ever fallen into that cycle of having people as your prime model of possibilities.</p><p><br></p><p>Now, put another finger up if you've used the success of other people you look up to as a yardstick for your life.</p><p><br></p><p>Guilty as charged?</p><p><br></p><p>The problem with having people as our prime models of possibilities is that we'll only be able to go as far as they've gone and you'd lose sight of the fact that our standard of success is in our unique template in God. We should learn from others, but look to your own template in God.</p><p><br></p><p>To find out about yourself, you have to look to the one who made you. As much as we know about our biological lineage, we should also have knowledge about the culture of our spiritual heritage, which lies in God.
