About Luke seen from the perspective of the gospel of the water and the Spirit (III)

The Gospel of Luke Biblical Exposition series you are now listening to consists of twenty-four chapters and is divided into six volumes. This third volume covers chapters eleven through fourteen. The content is organized by topic and divided into three sections: Biblical Exposition, Question-and-Answer, and Sermon. Luke Seen from the Perspective of the Gospel of the Water and the Spirit (Ⅲ) is a book that examines what the saved should seek and where they should set their hearts as they live. The author, Pastor Paul C. Jong, has preached the Word from the perspective of the gospel of the water and the Spirit, which Jesus Christ completed through the baptism He received from John the Baptist, the Cross, and His resurrection. Through Biblical Exposition, questions and answers, and sermons, this book conveys prayer for the Kingdom of God and the preaching of the gospel, the faith that seeks the Kingdom of God first, a life of waiting for the Lord who will come again, the narrow gate and the feast of the Kingdom of Heaven, and the way of the true disciple. It helps readers live lives of faith, hoping for the Kingdom of God and preaching, together with the church, the gospel of the water and the Spirit, the gospel of the remission of sins. ● Scripture quotations used in this book are from the ‘New King James Version (NKJV)’, ‘American Standard Version (ASV)’. ● This audiobook is an original human creation based on the sermons of Rev. Paul C. Jong. To provide clear delivery and a comfortable listening experience, AI technology was employed only for the voice generation.

   Preface

Reading the Gospel of Luke is not a matter of learning only as knowledge the prayer and the parables Jesus taught. It is to know through the word what God accomplished in history in order to save sinners, and to believe in the heart the gospel of the water and the Spirit, which Jesus Christ completed with the baptism He received from John the Baptist, the Cross, and the resurrection. Volume 3 of the Gospel of Luke shows what the person who has believed in this salvation must ask for, and where he must set his heart as he lives. The person who has received the remission of sins does not rely on the wealth of the world or on his own righteousness, but hopes for the kingdom of God and serves the gospel together with the church. https://www.bjnewlife.org/ https://youtube.com/@TheNewLifeMission https://www.facebook.com/shin.john.35

Ch11_01_Biblical Exposition_Part 1 Understanding the text passage by passage and its gospel-based interpretation

Luke chapter 11 begins with the prayer Jesus taught and deals with the Holy Spirit, the power of Satan, the faith that hears the word, the sign of Jonah, the light of the heart, and the hypocrisy of the Pharisees and the lawyers. This chapter shows the life of the disciple who seeks the will of God, believes and keeps the word, and goes on to a change of heart rather than of outward appearance. https://www.bjnewlife.org/ https://youtube.com/@TheNewLifeMission https://www.facebook.com/shin.john.35

In Part 1 above we looked at each passage of Luke chapter 11 side by side, from the general interpretation of the text and from the perspective of the gospel of the water and the Spirit. Now, following the flow of the same text, we will look closely at what prayer and the Holy Spirit, the authority of Jesus, and the faith that hears and keeps the word teach us about our faith and our lives. https://www.bjnewlife.org/ https://youtube.com/@TheNewLifeMission https://www.facebook.com/shin.john.35
