Welcome to the sermon podcast of LYA. We are the young adults ministry of LibertyLive.Church in Hampton Roads, Virginia. We meet every Tuesday at 7:00 PM at our Hampton campus' LSM Building.
In this message from our Firm Foundation series, LYA Resident Trevor Stoupa shares what it means to truly rest through the practice of Sabbath. Looking at Scripture, Trevor unpacks three areas where we need rest: our bodies, our minds, and our spirits. Sabbath is more than simply taking a day off. It’s an opportunity to step away from the noise, trust God with our worries, and worship the One who gives us rest. Discover how to build rhythms of rest into your life and find true rest in Jesus. Join us every Tuesday in the LSM Building at 7 pm & follow us @lyahampton to stay up to date.

The Way Up is Down
What does it look like to live a life that puts others first? In this week's sermon, we’re unpacking the spiritual discipline of serving and why following Jesus means moving from consumer to contributor. Through Scripture and the example Jesus set, we’ll explore how to use the time, talents, and gifts God has given us to love others, glorify Him, and live out a faith that goes beyond simply showing up. Serving isn’t always convenient, but it can make an eternal difference. Join us every Tuesday in the LSM at 7 p.m. & follow us @lyahampton to stay updated on all things LYA!

Godly Ambition with Ruslan KD
This week, Ruslan KD challenged us to examine our ambitions and ask what we’re really working toward. We were reminded that there’s a difference between selfish ambition that seeks recognition and godly ambition that uses our time, talents, and resources to honor God. Through 1 Thessalonians 4, we were encouraged to take responsibility for what God has given us, grow in love, and remember that delayed obedience is disobedience. Small, intentional investments in our walk with God lead to lasting growth, but it all starts with building our lives on Jesus as our cornerstone. So, what do you need to stop, start, or change to align your life with Him? Join us in the LSM Building every Tuesday at 7 p.m., and follow us on Instagram @lyahampton for more updates.
