Rediscovering classical Sinhala/Tamil Songs, Artists and learning the meaning of the songs in the process.
What is my Vision?
To bring back our music. Our classical Sri Lankan songs.
My Mission?
To make it easier for people like me to understand the meaning of our sinhala songs and hopefully bring back the lost love for our artists and appreciate our music.

Lesson 1: Shantha me ra yame by Panditha W.D Amaradewa
Lyrics/Music and Sung by Pandith W.D Amaradewa.
Today's our storyteller is Mr. Gamini Priyantha. He is the first person that commented and messaged me and offered his time for this project. So he is a true Legend.
*Please note that the interpretation is based on Mr.Gamini's knowledge and life experiences. The overall meaning of the song as per me is well explained and please think twice before you start critisiing the hard work done by this man.
Thank you very much for everyone who helped me to get this done.
Onwards and upwards.
Tell us what you favourite old classical song is ?
