Kicking off today's edition of the M.A.D.E. MEN PROJECT is a former gang member and once a foster child, now a Physical Education teacher in St. Louis Missouri, and the 2020 State of Missouri's Teacher of the Year, Darrion "DC" Cockrell.
In this episode, Darrion talks about losing his father to violence at the age of four and how that impacted him, living in a group home, and his first encounter with a positive male figure in his life. Today I am doing a SPECIAL FATHERS DAY EDITION of the M.A.D.E. MEN PROJECT. My guest are Steve Glenn Sr. who is a Serial Entrepreneur, one of the wisest and knowledgeable men I know, and a truly loving husband and father. My 2nd guest is his youngest son, current contestant on Season 20 of Hells Kitchens Young Guns, Chef Steve Glenn Jr. This episode will really pull at your heart strings and even may cause your eyes to start sweating...lol. It was truly amazing to see such a genuine display of love and affection between father and son while digging into the mindset from the father and sons perspective.

Andrew is a professor at Townson University where he offers the seminar, The changing Facing Of Masculinity. He has also written on masculinity and men's issues for the New York Times, Italy's La Repubblica, and The Washington Post Magazine. Andrew speaks about masculinity regularly at schools and conferences around the world.
