We learn about how many of them were created by significan't people, had notable people in their congregations and how they've watched over hundreds of years of history and significant events. </p><br><p>We learn about how Christianity came to find London and how a tiny bit of the first church it arrived at still stands. </p><br><p>Come on a journey with me as we go into the pulpits, crypts and churchyards and even visit an old plague pit. </p><br><p>Explore the fascinating history of London's oldest churches, from how All Hallows by the Tower has some of the oldest stones in London, St Olaves is where Mary Ramsey, the first plague victim is buried & St Bartholomew the Great is the only place in London to have had a visitation from the virgin Mary herself. St Bartholomew's may also be where the plague spread in Smithfield, leading to a huge plague pit by the Charterhouse.
