<p>Part 2 - This week, Neil is joined by Fin Edridge, Product Manager at Skin Analytics who builds AI technology into products that have real clinical and health economic value. Neil and Fin cover some key questions around ML in healthcare<strong>: </strong>Why is trust important? Why do we need GPs to trust our technology?</p> <p>In order to cut down the number of unnecessary referrals from Primary Care to Secondary Care, we need clinicians to act on the results of our skin assessment when it says that a patient doesn’t need to be referred. Healthcare is delivered by people, for people and trust is at the heart of that. Patients need to trust their clinicians, and clinicians need to trust the tools that they use to deliver quality care for their patients.
