Keya Hatkar @THE MEENAMMA SHOW | MADE IN INDIA | EP - 58 | 20 FEB 26 #postivevibes #keyahatkar
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to another deeply moving and unforgettable episode of Meet Meenamma—where courage meets purpose and stories redefine what it truly means to live with strength. Before we begin, do remember to subscribe to Meet Meenamma on YouTube, follow us on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, and tune in to the audio version on Spotify and all major podcast platforms—because today’s story is one that will stay with you long after you’ve heard it.Today, I have the profound honour of introducing a young changemaker whose life is nothing short of extraordinary—Keya Hatkar.Born with a rare, terminal, progressive genetic condition called Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), Keya has faced severe physical challenges every single day of her life. Tasks many of us take for granted demand immense courage, patience, and resilience from her. But instead of asking, “Why me?”, Keya chose to ask a far more powerful question:“How can I make my life matter?”At just 15 years of age, she is a recipient of the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2024, India’s highest civilian honour for children. She is a three-time bestselling author, TEDx speaker, global disability inclusion advocate, artist, coder, and podcaster—using her voice not to speak about limitations, but about belief, empathy, courage, and kindness.Through her initiatives I M Possible & SMAART (IMPS) and SMAARTR, Keya works tirelessly to provide voice, dignity, and sustainable livelihood opportunities to rare disease warriors and artists across India—transforming pain into purpose and inclusion into action. Her life sends a powerful message to students and young minds everywhere:“You don’t need to be powerful to make a difference. You only need to believe that you are possible.”To learn more about her journey, visit:www.keyafightssma.inwww.i.m.possibleandsmaart.comSo without further ado, let us welcome the brave heart, the determined mind, and an inspiration to us all—Keya Hatkar—to Meet Meenamma.#MeetMeenamma #KeyaHatkar #SpinalMuscularAtrophy #SMAAwareness #RareDiseaseWarrior #DisabilityInclusion #InclusionMatters #YouthInspiration #PMRashtriyaBalPuraskar #YoungChangemaker #BelieveInYourself #CourageAndKindness #AccessibleIndia #WomenOfInspiration #InspiringIndia #PurposeDrivenLife #AbilityNotDisability #GlobalInclusion #TedxSpeaker #MakeADifferenceConceptualised and Produced by: Meenamma [ Dr. Meenakshi Anantram ].
