Taking todays complicated cultural and controversial topics and boiling them down to make them simple to understand and solve. We take the hard to understand and make it simple.
How do you forgive someone when the hurt is still there?
In Season 2, Episode 10 of Made Simple, we tackle one of the hardest parts of living out our faith: forgiveness when the pain hasn't completely gone away.
Sometimes we know we're supposed to forgive, but that doesn't mean the hurt disappears overnight. When someone has betrayed us, wounded us, disappointed us, or caused us deep pain, forgiveness can feel almost impossible. So what does biblical forgiveness actually look like when it still hurts?
In this episode, we talk about the difference between forgiving someone and pretending the hurt never happened, and why forgiveness doesn't necessarily mean forgetting, excusing what happened, or immediately restoring the same level of trust.
You don't have to pretend it didn't hurt in order to forgive.
Forgiveness isn't about saying what happened was okay. It's about choosing not to let what happened continue to control your heart.
Join us as we make the difficult simple and take a closer look at what it means to forgive—even when it still hurts.

The Auto-Immune Disease Within the Church
What happens when the Church starts attacking itself?
In this episode of Made Simple, we take a hard look at something that can quietly become destructive within the Body of Christ: Christians attacking other Christians. Much like an auto-immune disease, where the body mistakenly identifies its own healthy cells as something that needs to be attacked, the Church can sometimes turn against its own members. A Christian makes a mistake, says the wrong thing, falls short, or simply does something we disagree with—and suddenly they're judged, condemned, criticized, or pushed away.
But do we really know their heart?
Do we know their intentions?
Do we know what they're struggling with?
And are we responding with the same grace, mercy, and patience that God has shown us?
This conversation explores the danger of creating a culture where Christians are constantly looking for each other's mistakes instead of helping one another grow. Correction without love can become condemnation, and judgment without understanding can destroy the very people we're called to help. The Church isn't supposed to destroy its wounded. We're supposed to help restore them. The question isn't whether Christians will make mistakes—we will. The question is how the rest of the Body responds when they do.

Spiritual Warfare
What does it really mean to be in a spiritual battle?
In this episode of Made Simple, Pastor Kenny and Caleb dive into the reality of spiritual warfare and what the Bible teaches us about recognizing, preparing for, and standing against the attacks of the enemy.
Spiritual battles are not fought with physical weapons. Scripture teaches us that our fight requires spiritual strength, biblical truth, faith, prayer, and the full armor of God.
Together, we discuss how to:
Recognize the reality of spiritual warfare
Understand where the battle is actually taking place
Prepare yourself before the attack comes
Stand firm when you're under spiritual pressure
Use the armor of God described in Ephesians 6:10–18
Take our thoughts captive according to 2 Corinthians 10:1–6
Stop fighting spiritual battles with worldly solutions
Develop a stronger, more prepared walk with God
The enemy doesn't always attack in obvious ways. That's why we need to know God's Word, understand our authority in Christ, and be prepared to stand when the battle comes.
"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might." — Ephesians 6:10
