Made Strong is a weekly podcast for people who feel called to more and are ready to grow through what life brings. Host Jamie Kuenzie shares real stories, honest faith, and simple tools that help you build strength that lasts longer than willpower and runs deeper than discipline. If you have been doing the work but want it to actually mean something, welcome. Strength is made, not found.
Stop Chasing "Bounce Back." Start Building Strength. | Made Strong Ep. 6
What if becoming stronger had less to do with changing your body... and more to do with changing the way you see yourself?
In this episode of Made Strong, I sit down with my longtime friend Molly Hahn, co-owner of Instinct Fitness & Wellness, women's strength coach, wife, and mom of three.
Molly has spent years helping women build confidence through strength, navigate pregnancy and postpartum with grace, and simplify healthy living in a culture that often makes it feel overwhelming.
Together, we talk about:
• Why "bounce back" culture misses the point
• Building confidence through strength, not appearance
• Why muscle matters for longevity and independence
• Modeling a healthy relationship with food and fitness for our children
• Walking through the loss of both parents and how grief changes your perspective
• Managing stress and giving yourself grace through every season
• Simple, sustainable habits that help women thrive
One of my favorite moments in this conversation is when Molly shares the story of two women at her gym who found the confidence to do something they never thought they would. It's a beautiful reminder that real transformation often begins long before we ever see it on the outside.
Whether you're navigating motherhood, rebuilding your health, grieving a loss, or simply trying to become stronger one day at a time, I hope this conversation leaves you feeling encouraged.
Because health isn't about chasing perfection.
It's about building the strength and freedom to fully live the life you've been given.

Running 5 Marathons with Cystic Fibrosis | Mindset, Resilience & Breaking Limits | Made Strong Ep. 5
What does it take to run 5 marathons with cystic fibrosis?
In this episode of Made Strong, Jamie sits down with Katie from “Katie’s Race to Breathe” to talk about resilience, mindset, and what it really means to build strength when life is not easy.

This conversation goes beyond running. It explores how to push through discomfort, build mental toughness, and create an identity beyond a diagnosis.
We talk about:
Running marathons with cystic fibrosis
Mental strength and resilience
Discomfort tolerance and success
Chronic illness and mindset
Overcoming injury, anxiety, and setbacks
Building discipline and consistency

Hormones, Lent & a Personal Reset | Made Strong Ep. 4
After three episodes in January, I went quiet.
Not because I didn’t care. Not because I was done.
But because life required recalibration.
In this episode of Made Strong, I’m sharing what’s been happening behind the scenes — from pouring into speaking events, to beginning hormone replacement therapy, to navigating the very real need to advocate for my own health.
We talk about:
• Why I chose to start HRT
• The importance of comprehensive labs and asking better questions
• The reality that the healthcare system is often reactive, not proactive
• Why women must be willing to advocate for themselves
• How Lent is the perfect season to reflect, refine, and reset
Lent invites us to examine what needs to be removed and what needs to be strengthened. I can’t think of a better metaphor for our health.
I also share details about my upcoming virtual event, Fix Your Gut, Transform Your Life on March 5, as well as the 7-Day Fiber Reset happening March 9–15.
If you’d like more information about the March 5 event or the Fiber Reset, email me at jamiekuenzie@gmail.com or follow me @jamiekuenzie on social.
Sometimes strength doesn’t look like pushing harder.
It looks like recalibrating with intention.
You were made strong. Let’s live like it.

Overcoming Challenges | Made Strong Ep. 3
What do you do when things get hard and quitting feels easier than continuing?
In this episode of Made Strong, I sit down with my friend Brandy to talk about overcoming challenges in real life, not in theory. We reflect on a shared experience hiking Camelback Mountain in Arizona and how that physical climb revealed deeper lessons about resilience, parenting, and staying present in discomfort.
Brandy shares what it was like hiking with her daughters, encouraging them to keep going when it would have been easier to stop. We connect those moments to the emotional challenges many of us are facing right now, including navigating friendships, hard conversations, and the temptation to avoid conflict instead of working through it.
This episode is about strength that is built quietly. On the mountain. In parenting. In relationships. In choosing to stay instead of walking away.
If you are halfway up something hard, this conversation is for you.
At the end of the episode, I invite listeners to share the challenges they are working through so we can continue the conversation in future episodes of Made Strong.

Born Sick, Made Strong | Ep 1
In this first episode of Made Strong, I share my origin story and why strength, for me, has always been about more than muscles. I was born sick and spent my early childhood fighting for breath. I didn’t choose strength — strength found me. Today, on New Year’s Eve, I finally stopped waiting and hit record.
This year, I’m choosing action over perfection, becoming over arriving, and strength over comfort. If you’ve been feeling called to do something for a long time, this is your sign: begin.
Strength is made, not found — and becoming is the point.
