Episode 6: "Re-membering: The Anniversary Episode"
After a 10-month hiatus, the hosts take time during Black History Month to re-member as they look back at the podcast's first anniversary. Treating topics such as language as a tool of world creation and value signaling, they explore the first question they ever asked together in this project: What is Afro-Latinidad? What does it mean? How does our re-membering and self-assertion by calling ourselves Black re-narrate and re-define history? Furthermore, how do our actions - beyond what our speech can communicate - speak to our beliefs and commitments?

Episode 5: "No se habla de Bruno"
For the finale of the first season, the hosts dive into a conversation honoring May as Mental Health Awareness Month. Through personal stories and reflections, they highlight the importance of taking the time to recognize ourselves and our needs and journey towards our holistic healing. Healing that is both individual and communal. Healing that starts with us and extends to everyone in the present, our ancestors in the past, and our generations in the future.

Episode 4: "The Brotherhood"
Continuing the conversation they began last month, the hosts take this month's episode to talk about the effects of masculinity, machismo and the patriarchal structure on men. Through their own experiences and their reflections on these ideas, they dive into how this system ensures its perpetuation and expands its impact to affect persons across gender expressions, sexualities, and ages. Between laughs and deep dives into their stories, their goal is to encourage conversation and, most of all, accountability in the Latiné community as we continues to struggle towards a different tomorrow where the "y un día" goes from a dream to a reality.

Episode 3: "La Negra Tiene Tumba'o"
In conmemoration of International Women's Day and Women's History Month, the hosts discuss the ideas of womanhood that predominate in the Latinx community. Touching on social expectations, fetishizing, and the role of the patriarchy and machismo in the perpetuation of the existing systems, this conversation vulnerably dreams of a future where these things are no longer; a future where women get to live without fear. It is an invitation for women to fully be themselves - in whatever way that manifests - and for men and other members of our community to journey with us towards fullness and self-love.

Episode 2: "Black History: La Cumbia Nos Llama"
In celebration of Black History Month, the hosts discuss blackness as an identity and how it has come to be defined by the Black American and the Black Latinx communities. Through comparison, contrast, and personal stories, pain, joy, complexities, contradictions and dreams of the future come together in this episode to open a space for collaboration and mutual love to take place. As the title suggests, through the examples of music and the ways our bodies have known that lineage beyond what has, or hasn't, been documented in our history, this conversation is an invitation to go back and see the places where, even in pain, we can find joy and hope.
