In this episode of Make Life Fun Again, we’re talking about something that most couples don’t talk about, especially not with microphones rolling:
✨ Sex.
First-time sex.
Awkward, hilarious, heartfelt, faith-filled newlywed sex.
We saved ourselves for marriage, BOTH OF US, and that decision shaped our relationship more than anything else. But it also made our wedding consummation… let’s just say… memorable in all the most beautifully awkward ways. 😅
In this episode, we open up about:
🔥 What it was really like to be two virgins on our first night
🤣 The hilarious struggles we absolutely did NOT expect
💬 The conversations that helped us grow closer instead of embarrassed
💑 How choosing to wait removed comparison, pressure, and past baggage

Loving Someone Through the Darkness | Make Life Fun Again (Ep. 2)
Episode 2 - Loving Someone Through the Darkness
In this raw and vulnerable episode of Make Life Fun Again, we take you into one of the most difficult chapters of our entire relationship, the season of deep clinical depression that hit Sharlene during the months leading up to our wedding.
On the outside, everything looked perfect:
We were in love. We were planning a beautiful future. We were getting ready for the fairytale God had written for us.
But behind closed doors, Sharlene was facing a darkness so heavy that she genuinely believed she wasn’t good enough, and she told Harry to walk away.
This episode is about:
💔 What depression really looked like behind the scenes
👣 Why Harry chose to stay when leaving would’ve been easier
🙏 How faith held us when neither of us had the strength
❤ And how this season, as painful as it was, became one of the most defining parts of our marriage
It’s a reminder that even when God writes the story, that doesn’t mean there won’t be chapters of struggle.
But if you hold on, love fiercely, and fight together, the reward is the kind of relationship that’s worth every scar.
Whether you’ve walked through depression yourself, loved someone who has, or are simply searching for hope, we pray this episode reminds you that healing is possible, faith is powerful, and real love doesn’t run when things get hard.
Let’s make life honest. Let’s make life hopeful.
And most of all, let’s make life fun again. ❤
