Everyone believes in something. On Make Me a Believer, we challenge ideas—from love and ethics to spirituality, conspiracy theories, and everything in between. What does it really mean to be a believer? Do you know why you think the way you do? What would it take to convince you of the opposite? Tune in for deep dives, open minds, and conversations that just might change what you thought you believed.

Abuse isn’t always a bruise. Sometimes it’s control, isolation, manipulation, intimidation, financial abuse, threats, or slowly making someone believe they don’t deserve better.
In this episode, we’re talking about domestic violence beyond the physical—and why recognizing abuse is only the first step. We discuss what it actually means to advocate for victims, how friends and family can respond when someone they love is being abused, and why “just leave” is rarely as simple or safe as it sounds.
We’ll also talk about the responsibility we have as bystanders to act, not just feel sorry for someone, and how seemingly small choices—believing someone, offering support, respecting their autonomy, helping them access resources, or simply refusing to minimize what’s happening—can make a real difference.
Because you don’t have to wait until someone is physically hurt to take abuse seriously.
Abuse is abuse. And sometimes, speaking up can be the thing that helps someone realize they’re not alone.

Modern Medicine: Healing or Hype?
Is modern medicine always doing what’s best for the patient—or have we become too comfortable accepting “normal” as an answer?
In this episode of Make Me A Believer, Dr. Kayleigh France of Agapex joins us for a conversation about the strengths, limitations, and blind spots of modern healthcare. We dig into where conventional medical approaches can fall short, why patients sometimes struggle to get their concerns heard, and what it actually looks like to become an informed, empowered advocate for your own health.
From asking better questions to challenging assumptions, Dr. France shares her perspective on the gaps she sees in healthcare—and why being an engaged patient doesn't have to mean rejecting modern medicine.
Is modern medicine the answer, the problem, or somewhere in between?
