As an Irish girl in her mid 20s, I have spent 8+ years documenting my life story online as a content creator. I'm not afraid to show the highest of highs and the lowest of lows, and everything that happens in between. As I learn and grow, it's amazing to have this platform to share what I'm growing through as it happens.Make The Connection is all about finding your place in the world, those moments of clarity, the 'A-HA' moments where everything just clicked. The day you made the connection. My hope is to help you to reach your highest potential too. Instagram: instagram.com/clodascanlonTiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@clodascanlon
I'm giving a voice to Ireland's young people (20s & 30s age group) aka 'The Forgotten Generation' as I'm calling us. In recent studies, we've been named one of the most expensive and lonely countries in Europe and that's evident in the mass emigration of young people from Ireland.
I asked a bunch of young people in Ireland and Irish abroad how they were feeling and some the biggest social issues they're all facing include loneliness, feeling like they're missing out on a better life, cost of living crisis, housing crisis and a multitude of emotions. It's a really interesting one, and a bit more of a serious chat but this episode is not about me, it's about how young people are really feeling with the state of Ireland in recent times. With a huge lack of support or care from the government, it seems we've had to take matters into our own hands if we want things to change...

Dublin Season 1, Part 2
2024 is all about romanticising our lives. We're writing the script and we are the main characters, so it's time to step into our Main Character Eras. I'm finding it helpful to ask myself, what would the main character do - what would Carrie Bradshaw, Bridget Jones, Emily Cooper or Rachel Green do? They would try it all, flop, succeed, it doesn't matter once they're willing to try... so why don't we live by that mindset?
So, I'm in Dublin Season 1, Part 2 and romanticising my new life here. This is going to be my open diary to document life in my 20s as a single girlie!
I chat through my two BIG personal goals for 2024 and why I'm challenging myself to them. Aaaand my 2024 dating intentions... it's all ahead of me!
I also talk about 3 things I've thought about this past week: I Think I Like This Little Life song gone haywire, The Golden Globes and ditching the whole 'New Year, New Me' bandwagon.

I owe you an explanation... P.S. always trust your gut instinct!
It's been a while and so I feel I owe you an explanation as to why it's taken me so long to put out the next episode. I really appreciate your support and patience while I've been doing lots of introspection.
In this episode, I get raw and vulnerable, speaking about mental health, trusting your gut instinct and my optimism for the podcast going forward!

Imposter Syndrome Is Killing Your Happiness
In this episode I delve into the (sometimes scary to talk about) topic of imposter syndrome and how it might be holding you back from living you very BEST life! I wanted to leave you with some thoughts that might help you the next time you doubt yourself or find yourself riddled in imposter syndrome!!
I also mentioned how I did some Life Coaching last year with Sinead O'Hara and she was phenomenal, I cannot recommend her services enough. I will leave her Instagram here (https://www.instagram.com/sohcoaching/?hl=en) if you wish to get in contact with her.
