Dr. Janell Carroll is a Certified Sexuality Educator with the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists, and an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation. She has been on the faculty of the Department of Psychology at the University of Hartford for over 20 years and is the author of a popular college-level human sexuality textbook, as well as two popular press books for adolescents about menstruation and puberty.
In this podcast, Dr. Carroll uses both her background and training in sexuality, along with her education, research, and coaching expertise to discuss a variety of topics related to sex and health. The show includes two types of episodes – one in which Dr. Carroll interviews experts, couples, students, and anybody else she can convince to come on the show, and another that involves Dr. Carroll jumping up on her soapbox to discuss topics that she believes everyone should know about.
