Episode 4: Meet the Youth Leaders Building Our Future Cities (pt. 2)
By 2030, the UN estimates 60% of the world population will be living in urban areas, leaving the rural population a minority. In the Philippines, the urban population is expected to grow to 65% by 2050. And who will be leading this change? The youth.
For part two of our mini-series, we’ll tell you all about the young leaders we met in Cebu under the Youth 4 Sustainable Cities, a youth engagement program we ran in partnership with Citi Foundation to engage the youth with urban development. Meet Bel, Al, and Robert, and Naomi, 4 of our 27 Cebu ambassadors, and get to know the social impact they’re creating - and continue to create - right as we speak. Opinions expressed by the participants are their own and do not represent the views of makesense.

Episode 3: Meet your local heroes who are saving the planet right now! 🌏
Deloitte University Press found that the economic and socio-political optimism of the youth is at an all-time record low. Hopeless? Far from it. For our third episode, we spoke to three makesense ambassadors and volunteers to give us a sneak peak behind the lives of our everyday heroes, how they help push the needle, and how YOU can do too!
It was total BLAST speaking to Ryan Bestre HL, Ashley Uy, and Cyril Mapula. We hope you enjoy this episode as much we enjoyed putting it together!

Meet the entrepreneur saving thousands of vaginas every month! 😱
In our first-ever podcast episode, we invited Audrey, the founder of Sinaya Cup, to talk more about her social enterprise’s advocacy - women empowerment and menstrual health education! 💪
The menstrual mysteries of life can be a tricky and confusing topic for a lot of us, and so we highly encourage everyone to give our first ever podcast a listen!
