Turn Words to Dancing with Dale Madison Titus
Dale and I have been friends for about eighteen months. We've held space for each other during some of the most difficult terrain either of us have ever traversed, and our connection has quickly grown roots that keep us communicating physically and telepathically between her home in South Africa and mine on the east coast of Australia consistently. In 2023, we were part of a mastermind called Touching Wild with our mutual friend and previous guest, Madeleine Burgoyne. Check out our episode here (https://podcasts.apple.com/au/podcast/guaranteed-true-love-holding-your-feet-to-the-fire/id1565771283?i=1000622380110). We went deep into subconscious patterns, desires and honest-to-God dreams. Facing the hard questions ("so what if you never reach your full potential?") and revealing such tender pieces of ourselves bought us close, quickly. She has been kindling for my fire, a mirror for my magic and a safe place for my full expression. Her empathy is so strong, the neglected and dehumanized places in my Soul can't help but unfurl themselves in her presence. I'm not used to having friendships with women who love people like I do (we're a rare breed) but receiving the heart, ear and soft belly Dale continually offers up inspires me to keep exposing my Self to the world, regardless of what it costs in terms of comfort and my ideas of security. We're strikingly similar and deliciously different. We are both drawn back to ourselves over and over again by a desire to witness this delightful game consciousness is playing out with and through us and to cultivate an unshakeable sense of self. In this conversation, we cover sacred ground that includes undying love, real freedom of expression and closing the gap of longing for what we don't have by becoming it. Dale also beautifully articulates the difference between theoretically knowing we are free, and actually experiencing it, and how important it is to PRACTICE the feeling states we need and want to embody more in real life. An avid adventurer, Dale has been on a journey of self-exploration that has taken many forms. The past incarnations of her career include personal training, fashion design, makeup artistry and life coaching. Her most recent dance with divinity is in the realm of Burlesque. There is potent medicine here. Listening back, I could feel our conversation unravelling tension and opening a portal that helped me relax and drop into a deeper experience of myself. I found myself transfixed, hungry for more. You can be led by, love on and learn alongside Dale (you won't regret it) at @thegirldale and @darling.cleo on Instagram.

Activating the Animus - Cultivating A Relationship with Your inner Man
In November last year I went to a Family Constellations workshop. If you haven't been, it's a healing modality which involves mapping out your family dynamics using other people in the group. When it was my turn, I was shown how I'd been neglecting my inner masculine in favor of my wildly creative, idealistic "PHWOAR" feminine. I'd been so wrapped up in dreaming a new world into being, I forgot I needed a bridge to bring it to life in the world. Unsurprisingly, I had a few physical symptoms - a pterygium on my left eye and an overgrowth of candida - that pointed to an over-active feminine. I was also outsourcing a sense of support, as you'll hear in this episode, by dating more and more men, even though I knew (deep down) a new intimate relationship isn't actually what I wanted or needed. Men were stepping in to play this role temporarily, but they weren't a match for my vision or real standards. When I tuned into my inner masculine (poor guy) He had this to say... I’m here to love you, unconditionally. Lean on This, the as the Source of your Love. Fill up with Me, first. Then you’ll go into the world, overflowing. The masculine is the embodiment of all the things I know and love about the men in my life; their wisdom, strength and ability to push through and hold strong, regardless of the circumstances. When they're working together (my masculine and feminine), I can live and create with security, and a solid foundation. All parts of me are on the same team. I can just sparkle and shine, because I Am always there, appreciating me. It's hard to rely on something that feels unstable and shaky. As you'll hear, I've had to train myself to make going within my default and train this part of myself to come through. When I was a part of a Christian church, I remember connecting with Jesus (an archetypal representation of the Divine masculine) and then feeling so mad at myself when things didn't work out. Did I not pray hard enough? Did I get distracted and miss a clue? Am I not really hearing the voice of God? Ironically, I have a little more Grace with this part of myself now as it comes back online, recognizing - as much as it Knows All - it's on a learning journey. (#paradox) I also had to break a spell from a New Age teaching along the way that said allowing and training this part of myself meant I'd repel masculine men, because... polarity??? Obviously, this played into a deep-seated fear I'd never end up with a soulmate (the fear that, ironically, had me seeking out this teaching in the first place) and that my safety was somehow derived from proximity to men. (#patriarchy) Thankfully, I've been looking through the illusion, and have come to understand wholeness is where it's at. The more I connect to and rely on this part of myself, the more the "absence" I was seeking to fill has disappeared along with - honestly, still a little surprising - my desire to date. If this vibes, reach out. I'd love to hear your journey with this. What relationship do you have with the part of you that knows, that protects, that comes through? Do you feel believed in, supported and provided for? Send me a DM or leave a comment. Jae

Let go of unmet expectations and play with what's right in front of you
I used to have this fantasy someone would discover all my work one day and publish it for me. The reality is, it's my responsibility to share what I create with the world. That's why, in the middle of a conversation with my Self in the car, I grabbed my phone and hit record on this episode. It was one of those times when honoring the value of what I have to say, is more important than having all the fancy equipment and premium audio quality. This episode is about how to let go of unmet expectations. You know, all those things you thought would happen by now? The things you're secretly getting salty over and letting brew in your subconscious? The same things that are now leaking out and bashing you around. "Do more" "Be better" "If you had've done it like this, then we'd probably have that by now." Yeah, it's incredibly annoying. These beliefs are probably keeping you stuck in a holding pattern, stopping you from seeing the incredible experiences and opportunities that are already all around you right now. If you derive your entire sense of self from your achievements, more specifically, the things you haven't achieved yet but want to, this episode is for you. If you have a hard time trusting Life and believing things are working out in your favor, this episode is for you. If you care more about how other people see you, than how you feel and live your Life, this episode is for you. The book I reference is called "The Surrender Experiment" by Michael A. Singer. You are a worthwhile human. Your contributions to the world are valuable, and you are worthy of respect. Not just in ten years when you do all the things you want to do, right now. What you thought would happen is a tiny subset of what you're capable of. You didn't miss your chance, blow your shot or mess it up. You ARE good enough. Stop getting lost in the fantasy of how things could have been and learn how to navigate the experience in front of you. It's safe to let go of the expectations you had about how things should be, and finally see what's been there all along.

Guaranteed True Love & Holding Your Feet to the Fire with Madelain Burgoyne
I got up at 4 a.m. to record this episode. That always seems to be the way with Madelain; calling me out of a deep sleep, and into the land of darkness before daylight, where only a few are awake and truly living. Mads - as I call her - has been a mentor, friend and guide through the wilderness as I traversed some of the most difficult terrain I have encountered. She has helped me unlock my authentic voice, liberate my psyche and call home the pieces of myself I rejected. This is a broad, and also incredibly localised conversation. We cover a lot, but also barely anything at all. Among other things, we talk about... Mads' upbringing in a religious cult & how it relates to covid, mind control & being a savvy consumer, how company power structures often unwittingly favour dominance and submission, and (as a coach) how to spot when you're enabling someone to get your own needs met, rather than genuinely showing up to serve them. Feel like you're digging a hole rather than building a kingdom (putting endless time and energy into something with little to no yield)? We also touch on how culture conditions us to create from a "lack" place and how to re-wire your psyche to acknowledge your own innate value and brilliance. I recorded this episode in a period of struggle. When it comes to re-alignment, Mads is one of the best. We ended up working together again for another six months after this conversation, and I barely have to glance at the notes from one of our calls, for something to jump out that puts me straight back into a place of curiosity, play and a relaxed sense of awe, wonder and delight at this whole "Life, experience". I am a little freaked out by this episode. I think that's a good thing. In a culture where the pressure to be "someone" is ever-present, I think you'll find Mads' attitude and outlook on life, a much-needed relief. You can connect with Madelain on Facebook and Instagram - Madelain Burgoyne.
