Ugly Truths and True Friends
We all have ugly truths about ourselves that we keep hidden from the world; out of fear, and we sometimes even try to hide these truths from ourselves. When we are able to find and cultivate true friendships, the truths we have kept hidden don’t seem so ugly any more. We are able to bring them to the light and encounter Christ’s heart for us through these friendships. What are your ugly truths? Who can you trust with these truths? Who are your true friends that have a heart of Jesus, and will love and accept you in the midst of pain, confusion, and chaos in your life? I pray you know them, find them, and become them in your own life.

Labor and Lent
Lent has always been a time in the church where I put a lot of pressure on myself (am I doing enough? sacrificing enough? fasting enough? etc.). This year lent for me started with a BIG event, and has been taking me deeper and deeper. I believe it is good to have a plan for how we hope or envision our lent going, but at the root of it all, FAITH in God and His plans for us is the ultimate plan and will produce the most fruit in our souls for our lives. Here is how my lent started.... enjoy!

Self Help or Christ help?
Self help and self development content can truly make an impact on your life. But is that impact always for the best? How often do you read a self help book that reminds you of who you are as a child of God? How often are you instructed to invite and consult your path to success with Jesus when using self help?
Shifting from self help to CHRIST help, can be the missing link you are needing to see real results in your life. When you invite the Lord into these places, you will begin to encounter Him more personally and intimately. Your view on success will shift from results, to the journey; and you will live a life more fulfilling with humility and gratitude rather than results and stress.

Consolation & Desolation (Spiritual Warfare)
What is consolation? What is desolation? Which are you currently living in? How do you restore your heart? Have you ever fought in spiritual warfare? These questions are answered in this episode of Making Room. We are both physical and spiritual beings, and we often overlook the spiritual side of us, or don't fully understand how to approach the spiritual side of ourselves. I hope this episode helps you to gain a perspective you may not have had before, ask some hard questions, and seek the heart of Jesus further.

Life update: Sharing 3 Surprises
This summer has been a whirlwind for my family and I. With lots of joyful moments to share, we are finally ready to tell you all about it; and what that process has looked like. I have missed you all and am so grateful to be back and spend this time with you! Thank you for sharing in our family's joys, as well as praying with us through the tough times as well. May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord let his face shine upon you and be gracious to you. May the Lord look upon you kindly and grant you peace. I love you all.

Grace Talk
This episode is a talk I gave on a retreat a few weekends ago on the topic of grace. I received a lot a positive feedback and wanted to share with you all. I hope that while you listen to this episode, your hearts are opened to grace in a new way, that you hear at least one thing that inspires you and enlightens you today. May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord let his face shine upon you and be gracious to you, may the Lord look upon you kindly and grant you peace. AMEN!

Lies about Forgiveness
Easier said than done! If you have ever been hurt or wounded by another, you know that forgiveness can be tough! In this episode I break down some of the lies the devil offers us in order to keep up from forgiving. If he can keep us apart, feeling angry and hatred, than he has the upper hand. My prayer is that as you listen and these lies of revealed, you begin to experience peace and freedom. You feel the permission of God to let go of what has held you back and hurt you for so long. I myself and have been on this journey and am still walking it with you. God's speed friends!

Spiritual Comparison
Have you ever talked to someone who seemed more educated on their faith than you and immediately felt insecure. Have you seen someone who is very involved or reverent in their faith and thought "I'll never be like that..." or "who do they think they are?". I want to open the conversation to what that has been like in my own life, and hopefully inspire you to consider a new perspective. Don't judge your journey to anyone else and don't base your salvation on the life of others. Consult Christ in all you do and lean not on your own understanding. It doesn't matter how you start the race, it only matters how you finish! Don't give up on yourself and don't compare your journey to someone else's! You are always sought after by the heart of Jesus, and worth Him dying for! Enjoy this Good Friday episode just for you!

Talking about Sex
This is a touchy subject that may people shy away from, God has asked me to open the door for sharing and I hope I did it justice. There are many things that people don't want to say or don't know how to say and I share some of those difficult topics as well as some resources that have been truly an amazing blessing in my own life. I hope you enjoy, and reach out with comments, questions, and concerns! From one parent to another, I'm praying for you.

Spiritual Pep Rally
I get fired up in this episode about how God wants us to live our lives! Sharing Biblical declarations from God over my life and yours is certainly a reason to get excited! I hope that you kick all the lies about yourself that are holding you back from thriving in God's kingdom to the curb, and ask him to help you move in these truths from Him. I am praying for your heart and mind to be inspired, motivated, and that you can rally with me in living out our mission in life!

Let it go during Lent
Lent is a time to let go of everything that is not serving and building up the kingdom of God. That can look different for everyone! To voluntarily make sacrifices sounds silly to anyone who hasn't done it before, but when we suffer in the physical there is often fruit in the spiritual.

Healthy Self Love
Self love for me was always about how well you love your body, however; I wasn't shown how to do that well. Navigating health, fitness, and well being has become so complicated with so many different programs and is one of the fastest growing industries in our country. It can be extremely overwhelming! You don't have to navigate healthy self love alone, and I'm here to offer you a simple way to do it with more peace. Declutter your heart and mind with all the things you have heard, and start asking Christ what HE has to say about it. Watch your workouts and eating become an encounter instead of a chore

Two Kingdoms, Conflict, & Power of Words
Knowing the TRUTH about our identity is the most important step to cultivating a relationship with Christ, and therefore helps us to cultivate better relationships with those around us. Knowing the power your words will help you navigate the conflicts with others that you face and help you partake in the battle of the two kingdoms.

Guilt vs. Shame
Someone once asked me if I had shame.... that seemed like a silly question at the time; but the more I came to understand what shame is and were it comes from the more I began to let myself off the hook. My prayer is that through this episode, you make room to truly see yourself the way that Christ does. That you stop putting yourself down through shame, and that you use the gift of guilt to mend relationship and push yourself into the greatness that the Lord is calling you to.

Making Room for a WORD OF THE YEAR!
Having a Word of the Year is like having a piece of the puzzle for what the Lord wants your upcoming year to be about and look like. We don't know the whole plan or image, but we get to view it through this lens with the Lord. It is a gift, a journey, and I hope you make room for this journey to unfold in your own life; after listening to how it has taking space in my own. Holy Spirit Testimony
I was asked to share my personal testimony and while there are many parts I thought talking about the Holy Spirit was the best place to start since it is essentially the root of where the content of this podcast flows from. After listening to this episode, if you have any questions, go to the Holy Spirit post on my instagram and leave any questions you have in the comments!
