About Maliyo Stories

Maliyo Stories is a cinematic fiction podcast, inspired by characters from the game Safari City, that explores the lives, secrets, ambitions, and unravelling relationships within Safari City, a vibrant, ever-evolving community where every resident carries a story worth telling, and every story hides something deeper beneath it. Blending mystery, drama, romance, suspense, and emotional storytelling, the series follows interconnected characters as they navigate love, betrayal, reinvention, power, family, and survival in a city constantly balancing hope against history. What begins as ordinary conflict often spirals into something far more intimate, dangerous, and revealing. Told through rich narration, layered atmosphere, and character-driven storytelling, Maliyo Stories leans into the emotional tension of prestige audio drama while remaining deeply rooted in African community, memory, and identity. This season, a disappearance forces Safari City to confront buried truths, old loyalties, and the dangerous cost of reinvention. As a respected woman vanishes without warning, the stories people have lived by begin to fracture and the past returns demanding to be remembered. At its core, Maliyo Stories asks a simple but unsettling question: How well do we really know the people we trust… and who are they before they become who we need them to be?
