Hey, I’m Deb. I’m a mama, wife and Jesus Lover. I was overwhelmed with the concept of discipling my kids without a clue on how to do it.
I was inconsistent in showing my kids Jesus,, jumping from one idea to the next, with no schedule or routine in site.
I finally realized that I was overcomplicating this discipleship thing, and through habit formation I could disciple my kids in a much simpler way.
I created routines and habits to disciple with intention and less stress. Simple ways to show my kids Jesus consistently and I’m ready to share all of this with you!

Matariki is a holiday we have here in New Zealand to celebrate the Maori New Year. It is an event that causes confusion within the Christian community. Some ignore the holiday, some view it as demonic and some can use it as an opportunity to point their kids to Jesus.
In this episode, I unpack what the holiday is, how we should navigate it with our kids as believers and how we are going to use the holiday to point our kids to Jesus.

In this episode, I had that privilege of chatting to Amy Davis from the podcast Generate Joy.
We unpack what habits are, why they matter, how we can make them and how they can bring us closer to God and help us disciple our kids.
Amy shares that the word habit used to be a trigger word for her. She thought it was restrictive and meant there would be no time for fun. But after implementing simple habits, she discovered the opposite.
Habits created freedom in her day to do more of what she loved. They helped her in her relationship with God, and helped her point her kids to Jesus.

143. The BEST Rhythm to Implement that Will Make You a Better Parent and Teacher of Jesus
Mama, what would you do if I told you that I had a rhythm you could implement today and be a better mum and point your kids to Jesus more effectively if you implemented it? I would think you would say what is it??? Spill already!
It’s simpler than you might think. The BEST rhythm I have implemented that has transformed my ability to parent and disciple is getting up before my kids.
This isn’t as hard as you think. In this episode, I unpack how I have started this rhythm and why it has changed my parenting and discipling journey for the better.
