STAR WARS Mandalorian & Grogu vs MAN ON FILM

MAN ON FILM is BACK and this week Mr. Xcellence & Mr. Caravaggio dive headfirst into the galaxy far, far away with the brand-new The Mandalorian & Grogu movie… aka what Mr. Xcellence lovingly calls: “THE GROGU MOVIE NOBODY ASKED FOR… BUT EVERYBODY ENDED UP LOVING.” That’s right. Baby Yoda is outside acting up AGAIN. Eating random creatures. Pressing buttons he shouldn’t touch. Stealing scenes. Stealing hearts. Possibly committing multiple war crimes. And somehow STILL being adorable while doing it. Meanwhile Mando out here getting electrocuted every 15 minutes in armor apparently built by Temu. This episode is PURE chaos: Mr. Xcellence accuses Disney of secretly turning Season 4 into a movie Grogu gets charged with child endangerment AND attempted space terrorism The Hutts are described as “gator-rolling gelatinous crime lords” Mandalorian armor physics are put on TRIAL Star Wars logic gets cooked harder than Jabba at a barbecue Mr. Caravaggio tries defending canon while Mr. Xcellence emotionally attacks continuity errors for 2 hours straight PLUS: Zeb & Embo finally hit live-action Grogu solidifies himself as the cutest menace in cinematic history John Favreau gets his flowers… AND his interrogation Ryan Gosling’s upcoming Star Wars movie sends the whole studio into orbit Mr. Xcellence explains exactly how he’d defeat Mando in “two moves” And somehow in the middle of all this madness… they STILL admit this is one of the BEST action movies of the year. FINAL SCORE: 85% on the official MAN ON FILM charts. “Did we ask for it? NO. Did we end up loving it anyway? ABSOLUTELY.” If you love Star Wars… If you love Grogu… If you’ve ever wanted to watch two grown men argue about Mandalorian armor conductivity, puddle physics, force powers, and whether Grogu should legally be supervised… THIS EPISODE IS FOR YOU. OBSESSION MOVIE vs MAN ON FILM

MAN ON FILM is BACK like cook crack and this week Mr. Xcellence dives HEAD FIRST into the horror madness that is Obsession — the micro-budget psycho-thriller that came outta nowhere and smacked the entire theater upside the head. Directed and written by the absolutely UNHINGED visionary Curry Barker, this movie proves you do NOT need a billion-dollar superhero budget to traumatize audiences properly. With a shoestring budget and enough anxiety to power an entire state, Obsession somehow became one of the most talked-about horror movies of the year… and after this review, you’ll understand why. Mr. Xcellence breaks down: The “face of fear” performance from the terrifyingly brilliant Nikki Why this might be the BEST horror movie of the year so far The infamous “cat scene” that had the whole theater screaming Why the main character was acting suspiciously scared of beautiful women “Early Queen Syndrome” (yes… he really invented a term) The dinner freakout, the psychotic staring, the haircut scene FROM HELL Why this movie had grown men in the theater spiritually collapsing And somehow… between the chaos, screaming, paranoia, toxic love, bodies dropping, and “crazy punani economics,” MAN ON FILM still finds time to salute indie filmmaking and give flowers to one of horror’s newest breakout creators. This episode is hilarious, chaotic, wildly inappropriate, and somehow STILL a genuine love letter to creative filmmaking. Horror fans, toxic relationship survivors, and anybody who’s ever ignored a red flag because “the vibes were good” — this one’s for YOU. MAN ON FILM. Where it’s ALWAYS raining, man. THE WIZARD OF THE KREMLIN vs MAN ON FILM

MAN ON FILM: THE WIZARD OF THE KREMLIN — BIG P, BIG POWER, BIG POUTY P, PURE P UNDER-NUT CINEMA Mr. Xcellence and Mr. Caravaggio step into the shadowy halls of power for The Wizard of the Kremlin, a political thriller about Putin, Russia, image-making, power, paranoia, and what happens when the man behind the curtain might be scarier than the curtain itself. Jude Law pulls up as Vladimir “Big P” Putin, Paul Dano wanders through the machinery of Russian power, and MAN ON FILM asks the real questions: Is this a movie… or a dictator’s playbook with subtitles and cheekbones? In this episode, we get into: Jude Law giving “Young Pope meets Big Papa P” Paul Dano’s accent doing international espionage by itself Russia’s rise, fall, rebrand, remix, and reboot How power gets manufactured like a luxury fragrance Why this movie might need a part two immediately And why somebody in that theater smelled like salami, chips, and unresolved political trauma It’s heady, messy, long in the tooth, but fascinating — the kind of movie that makes you want to Google history, side-eye geopolitics, and never trust a man sitting too calmly in a chair. The Wizard of the Kremlin gets the Mann on Film treatment — sharp, sassy, political, and absolutely Kremlin-approved (We Hope).
