For our If Not Book Club finale, we brought back FIVE of our guests for one final conversation—and somehow, without planning it, the married folks ended up on one side and the singles on the other. You already KNOW where this went. 😂
We reflected on the book, the season, relationships, marriage, money, provision, standards, compromise, biblical interpretation, and what it actually means to wait without wavering.
Then somehow…EVERYBODY TURNED ON JAZZ! 😂
Our guests challenged her strictness, questioned whether some standards could use a little flexibility, and openly shared where they disagreed. Jazz listened…and then stood TEN TOES DOWN. Dad even admitted that one of the things he loves about his daughter is that she's headstrong and stands firmly on what she believes.
Because Waiting Without Wavering was never about everybody agreeing with you.
It's about knowing what YOU believe, remaining teachable, understanding the difference between compromise and abandoning conviction, and refusing to build your life according to someone else's standards.
After 22 episodes, that's where we leave If Not:

S4E21: If It Happens, I'm Ready... If Not, I'm Whole
The book signing happened—and it was AMAZING! So before diving into Chapter 21, Mom and I take some time to reflect on the experience, the love, the support, and everything God has done through If Not.
Then we get into the heart of this chapter: CONTENTMENT.
What does it mean to genuinely appreciate where you are while still desiring more? We discuss the difference between contentment and complacency, jealousy, comparison, stewardship, and learning to actually LIVE in the season you're constantly praying to get out of.
Being content doesn't mean you stop dreaming, growing, praying, or preparing. It means your happiness isn't being held hostage by what hasn't happened yet.
Because if you can't appreciate what God has already placed in your hands, what makes you think having MORE will finally make you grateful?
If it happens, I'm ready. If not, I'm still whole.

Why Want Marriage If You're Already Whole?
No guests this week—the weather said NOT TODAY! 😂 So it's just Jazz and Rita for Chapter 20 of the If Not Book Club, and we're answering a question that naturally follows everything we've discussed this season:
If you're already whole…why do you still want marriage?
We talk about independence, having your business together BEFORE entering a relationship, knowing what you want in a spouse, and preparing yourself for the next chapter instead of expecting another person to come fix your life.
Both of us were raised to be independent, capable women who could take care of ourselves—and Jazz is VERY aware that she's about to turn 32 and has officially passed all the ages Rita was when she got married, had Jazz, had her brother… 😂
HELLO, GOD! YA GIRL IS ABOUT TO BE 32!
But here's the lesson: wholeness doesn't eliminate desire. You can be fulfilled, independent, purposeful, and complete in Christ while still desiring companionship and marriage.
