About Marco Visconti presents: Unaussprechlichen Ramblen

Unaussprechlichen Ramblen is a "live podcast experience", where I will invite fellow magicians, occultists, and mystics and ramble along with them alongside the members of my online community. By doing so, I hope to introduce you all to a much wider perspective on magick than what we get nowadays from occult social media - which is frankly beginning to feel very stale, repetitive, and uninspired. If you want to be part of the next live recording, join us at http://magick.marcovisconti.org

Special Ramble: AI discusses the Aleister Crowley Manual

Join me for a remarkable—and somewhat unsettling—episode as two magick aficionados explore my first book The Aleister Crowley Manual. In an unexpected twist, this entire thirty-minute discussion was generated by Google’s new AI language model, Notebook, without any human edits. On one hand, it’s a testament to how advanced AI has become—capable of crafting coherent, persuasive, and well-informed content. On the other hand, it raises troubling questions about the implications for human creativity, expertise, and bias. If an AI can produce such compelling material so effortlessly, how do we ensure our knowledge remains trustworthy? Listen closely, not only for insights into The Aleister Crowley Manual but also for the eerie realisation that you aren't listening to real people. This episode serves as a cautious reminder that AI is here, it’s evolving quickly, and it may well reshape the future of writing, learning, and critical thinking. ⟁ More on Marco Visconti ➡️ (https://magick.marcovisconti.org)https://marcovisconti.org (https://marcovisconti.org) ⟁ Join Magick Without Tears ➡️ https://magick.marcovisconti.org (https://magick.marcovisconti.org)

Special Ramble: Stairway to Heaven with Peter Levenda

Hello, and welcome to another special episode of the most unpronounceable podcast ever. This time, I want to share a discussion between the legendary Peter Levenda (one of my first guests in Season One), myself, and the UFOTwitter community, hosted by the bubbly Holly Wood of Project NANU. We talk of celestial ascent, the nature of others, the intersection between magick and ufology, and of course "Stairway to Heaven", the course Peter and I will teach in February and March 2024. (https://www.marcovisconti.org/ascent) Oh, we also answer a lotHeaven,"magic of questions. This conversation was originally recorded on Twitter Space, known for its constant bugs (like the rest of the platform nowadays, unfortunately). So, apologies for the audio quality here and there. Special Ramble: Magick For Modern Times with Luke Robert Mason

Author Marco Visconti visits the birthplace of Aleister Crowley to share his modern perspective on Thelema - the system of magical teachings created by Leamington Spa’s most infamous personality. Visconti’s new book The Aleister Crowley Manual: Thelemic Magick for Modern Times reveals the benefits of bringing Magick into your life: from gaining a deeper understanding of your role in the universe to the wisdom that comes from the ability to communicate with ‘the Other’. Whether you are new to Thelemic Magick or an experienced practitioner, this conversation is ideal for anyone curious about the occult. 🎥 Recorded at Temperance Cafe, Leamington Spa on 30 March 2023 ☕️ Temperance Cafe: https://www.temperance.bar (https://www.temperance.bar) 🌀 More on Marco Visconti: https://marcovisconti.org (https://marcovisconti.org) 🌀 More on Luke Robert Mason: https://lukerobertmason.net (https://lukerobertmason.net) ⟁ Join Magick Without Tears ➡️ https://magick.marcovisconti.org (https://magick.marcovisconti.org) --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/marcovisconti/message

   Unaussprechlichen Ramblen with Ian Chambers

I have met Ian at various esoteric meetings in London over the years and always looked forward to the day when he'd finally put into words his ideas on Traditional Witchcraft. That day has arrived - after having to reschedule multiple times due to COVID-related issues - and we will learn from him how this book came to be and what truly is the Witch Compass. With this episode, we conclude Season 2 of Unaussprechlichen Ramblen, and we experiment with a new format: shorter, snappier recordings, since most of us don't have much time available anymore! Let me know your thoughts about it on the Spotify Poll. _ Find Ian: https://www.patheos.com/blogs/bythepalemoonlight (https://www.patheos.com/blogs/bythepalemoonlight) Find Marco: http://magick.marcovisconti.org (http://www.marcovisconti.org/) _ WHO'S OUR GUEST TONIGHT? Unaussprechlichen Ramblen with Jason Miller

Jason Miller doesn't need much of an introduction from me, as he's one of the most well-known and respected authors in Occulture today. In this episode we focused mainly on Jason's new book, fresh out of the press, Consorting With Spirits. Throughout the chat, we got a much better idea of what means to work with what he calls "the invisible allies", and how to strike the delicate balance between opening up to the unseen - and protecting oneself from the potential dangers therein. And for those who attended the live recording... well, we were treated to a very cool story about none other than King Paimon itself. _ Find Jason: http://www.strategicsorcery.net (http://www.strategicsorcery.net) Find Marco: http://magick.marcovisconti.org  (http://www.marcovisconti.org/) _ WHO'S OUR GUEST TONIGHT? Unaussprechlichen Ramblen with Giulia Turolla

I first met Giulia over 10 years ago in Rome, at the yearly Pagan Pride Day celebration. Ultra alcoholic mead was involved, apparently. Over the years we kept in touch through the internet and in this episode we discuss her tradition, the Temple of Ara, the intersection between witchcraft and shamanism, and the dangerous fascination with everything "Catholic" that plagues today's occulture. _ Find Giulia: http://www.boscodiartemisia.com (http://www.boscodiartemisia.com) Find Marco: http://www.marcovisconti.org  (http://www.marcovisconti.org/) _ WHO'S OUR GUEST TONIGHT? I graduated with honors in Classical Letters and Archaeology and Cultures of the Ancient World from Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna. My personal path focuses on the practice of witchcraft as an indigenous form of shamanism and aims to rediscover and rebuild the Sacred Net that binds us to the Spirits and the Gods of the place we live in. As a researcher of European witchcraft and magic in the Ancient World, I have participated to many conferences and events, both national and international. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/marcovisconti/message

   Unaussprechlichen Ramblen with Meredith Graves

Meredith and I have been in touch for several years, sharing our passions for music, the in-depth experience of the music business, and the willingness to try and make it easier for everyone to access and share magical knowledge. It's been a bumpy ride recently. In this episode of the Unspeakable Ramble, we tried and assess the current situation in Occulture: from them creating the Magic and Tarot division at Kickstarter, to the rise and fall of the witchfluencer, and touching on the dangerous flirting with the worst kind of Accelerationism. _ Find Meredith: @gravesmeredith on Twitter and Instagram Find Marco: http://www.marcovisconti.org  (http://www.marcovisconti.org/) _ WHO'S OUR GUEST TONIGHT? Following a crooked career trajectory from dishwasher to seamstress to singer in bands and host of MTV News, they currently serve as director of Music and head witch for premiere crowdfunding platform Kickstarter, launching their Magic and Divination section to the public in 2021. When not helping esoterically-minded folks around the world secure the necessary capital to realize their dreams, Meredith is a devout student of occult history and tradition, as well as a fibre artist and true crime enthusiast. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/marcovisconti/message

   Unaussprechlichen Ramblen with Tommie Kelly

First episode of Season 2 - but still Episode 8 because I like a little bit of chaos in my life! This time we welcome we will welcome artist, magician, and reluctant mystic (we'll get there...) Tommie Kelly Tommie doesn't need much an introduction for many of you here: not only his Forty Servants deck is widely used by all of us here, but he also often shares his insight on Discord. His podcast, Adventures on Woo Woo, is a hit both on YouTube and Spotify, and has spawned a website chock full of interesting articles. During the hour we spent together, we tried and unlock the secret of the Cosmos (no, really), while discussing the fascinating intersections between Art, Magick, and what lies beyond it all. _ Find Tommie: https://www.adventuresinwoowoo.com (https://www.adventuresinwoowoo.com/) Find Marco: http://www.marcovisconti.org  (http://www.marcovisconti.org/) _ WHO'S OUR GUEST TONIGHT? He used to describe himself as the World’s Only Consulting Occultist, but people didn’t get the reference and thought he was being serious, so he doesn’t do that now. At gun point he would describe himself as a Non-dual Chaos Magician, but he isn’t overly fond of labels as their function seems to be mostly about limiting things or putting them in boxes. He has had a lifelong interest in all things Occult and Spirituality, and his only actual qualifications are in Holistic Health Studies, being qualified in Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Holistic Massage, Indian Head Massage and Reiki, but he doesn’t practice any of it these days other than a personal use of Aromatherapy, which he finds extremely pleasant and helpful. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/marcovisconti/message

    Unaussprechlichen Ramblen with Elisabeth Empyrean

We conclude 2021 e.v. and the first season of Unaussprechlichen Ramblen welcoming Elisabeth Empyrean, and learning about what is really like to be working with Spirits. How to establish and nurture that relationship, how important is to be fully dedicated to this practice, how cutting corners just won't cut it (ahem!), and how - when all of this is properly done - then the Spirits come and inhabit the very things you create for them. _ Find Elisabeth: http://www.instagram.com/elisabethwingerter Find Marco: http://www.marcovisconti.org  (http://www.marcovisconti.org/) _ WHO'S OUR GUEST TONIGHT? Here's how she describes herself: I am a full time tattooist, artist, metalsmith and esoteric practitioner focusing on Solomonic ritual and alchemy. The core of my work is the creation and continued investigation of sacred objects and ritual tools, specifically centered around my own Liber Spirituum. Through artistic expression, emotional consideration, and appreciation of the journey to craft such items, objects have an enormous capacity to become physical anchors for alchemical transformation and footholds for spiritual forces in our world. My goal is the further development of a real relationship with these forces through devotion and effort, which shines in the most genuine and heartfelt manner through my creations. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/marcovisconti/message

    Unaussprechlichen Ramblen with Stephanie Olmstead-Dean

Following from the previous episode with IAO131, my discussion with Stephanie Olmstead-Dean starts with our shared experience with our formal Brethren in O.T.O. - and how we came to realise that everything we worked hard for was a little more than a lie. And then we take a look at Stephanie's current body of Work with The Thelemic Order, and her ideas - shared by me and many others - on how to regenerate and revitalise the 93 Current. _ Find Stephanie: http://www.thelemicorder.io Find Marco: http://www.marcovisconti.org  (http://www.marcovisconti.org/) _ WHO'S OUR GUEST TONIGHT? Stephanie Olmstead-Dean has been a devotee of Thelema for most of her adult life. After receiving initiation in Ordo Templi Orientis, and becoming Master of William Blake Lodge in Baltimore, MD, she was ostracised by her fellow Brethren due to her liberal viewpoints - in strict conflict with those of the international leadership. Nowadays, she is one of the 3 current leaders of The Thelemic Order, a new but fast-growing initiatory, clerical, and magical group dedicated to the promulgation of Thelema with a specific focus on inclusivity and liberal values. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/marcovisconti/message

    Unaussprechlichen Ramblen with IAO131

What happens when the Holy and Sacred Brotherhood you devoted the best part of the last decade of your life breaks apart, and you realise you were surrounded by people you do not share pretty much anything in common anymore? These days he is the primary force behind Thelemic Union, an organisation dedicated to spreading the magical and philosophical system of Thelema. He aims to do this through fostering a secular, non-hierarchical community of Thelemites, disseminating well-researched and well-produced materials promoting Thelema, and representing Thelema and Thelemic values to inter-faith communities and the world in general. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/marcovisconti/message

    Unaussprechlichen Ramblen with Peter Levenda

I wanted to ramble with Mr. Levenda for a long time, and I was delighted when he finally got back to me. Still, I was not prepared for the sheer amount of information we went through in the hour we spent together: from discussing his upcoming book with Jeffrey D. Evans and a new possible solution to the Riddle of AL (something for the Thelemites out there), to his extensive involvement with the ongoing disclosure project related to the UFO/UAP phenomena, and much more. (http://rodneyorpheus.com/) He was born in Ireland and joined the music business in the 80s as lead singer of The Cassandra Complex (http://cassandracomplex.co.uk/), one of the originators of the European electro-industrial music scene. Since then he has become a successful record producer and technologist. Rodney has published two books on the works of Aleister Crowley (Abrahadabra: Understanding Aleister Crowley’s Thelemic Magick, and Grimoire of Aleister Crowley). He has been a member of O.T.O. for just shy of 30 years, one of the few publicly recognised IX Degrees and ex Deputy Grand Master of the UK Grand Lodge. He resigned from O.T.O. in recent years, following the ongoing schisms. He lectures internationally in both technology and occult subjects and is a frequent speaker at academic and trade conferences as well as on TV and radio. He currently lives in London, England. Also, his experience as a Thelemite of over 30 years, his beginnings in Chaos Magick with the original IOT group, how the perception of the Current changed in this time, if there is still value in joining an "Order" or if they all fall short in the end, and to explain his point about "Pure Will" as opposed to "True Will" - which he briefly outlined in this article.
