Marw, the Welsh word for death, and this podcast is all about death, but not real dying, it’s much worse. I’m comedian Katie Gill-Williams and I’m obsessed with stories of Dying on your arse, dying on your hoop, tanking, killing the room, however you describe it, it’s that moment all comedians experience. I get to interview those who have lived to tell the tale. So join me as I ask comedians to recount their worst gigs, what they learnt, where did it go wrong, and crucially how do they keep going?

Jessica Fostekew what a pleasure! A real treat! Jessica Fostekew is such an eloquent and funny voice, I could spend days in her company, and wisdom. It was so interesting listening to her experience, and crucially her worst death which serves as a wonderful lesson to grow and move.
Although I tried not to, I am not sure I avoided sounding like the fan that I am.
You can see her on tour, and you really ought to, Mettle is coming near you early in 2024, and here's the link you need: https://www.plosive.co.uk/events/jessica-fostekew-mettle-tour-2024

Rachel Fairburn
What a joy to spend an hour with Rachel Fairburn. Funny, wise, and always sharp with her retelling of gigs including her worst death.
Rachel is currently on tour with Showgirl (which I was lucky enough to see) There is a link below for tickets and I can't tell you enough to go.... an absolute force. Make sure you have your tea beforehand though, and she won't be coming to Buxton.
Enjoy this brilliant chat with the icon that is Rachel Fairburn.

Kiri Pritchard-McLean
This was such a fun chat and honestly I could listen for hours to the many tales Kiri has from the comedy circuit and beyond. I could listen to her for hours on anything to be fair.
Kiri is an engaging, joyous and funny person, so I know you're going to have fun listening to her candid story of her worst comedy death, but there's some bonus deaths she has seen; no names given so don't be looking for scandal.
