Wriggle into your super low-rise hipster jeans, pop on your thin sparkly scarf, grab your Nokia 3210, and listen in as Maryanne and Jase take you back in time to the birth of reality tv in Australia and relive the show that united families with moments that tore tham apart.Beginning in 2001, we recap every episode of Big Brother Australia available, sprinkling in some personal stories and going heavy on the opinions.

”simpsons freak” (saturday show)
Todd joins Gretel on the couch for another Saturday special packed with extras including interviews with friends and family, a weird debate on Lisa's worth as a human, and for some reason author of He Died With A Felafel in his Hand John Birmingham is there. Also: we dive into the old big brother website from 2001 and explore Todd fansite, Todd's Place.

”a bee’s front-bottom” (week 5, eviction, and nominations)
Another housemate rides the golf buggy to the big eviction stage in the sky and everyone is upset about it, but not for long because there's a new task and a new wave of nominations to occupy their minds! It's a week of back pain and backstabbing, chickengate and chicken wire, and the addition of a new little friend.

”my vegetarian sausages” (uncut and saturday show)
Dry humping, fave positions, and Italians getting lap dances. A new enemy emerges, there's WAY too much "no homo" talk, and we come to a shocking realisation live on mic that renders us both speechless. It's Big Brother Uncut and the Saturday Special, babey.

”all right, stinky!” (week 4, eviction, and nominations)
This week we lose another housemate and three more take their place on the chopping block. One of us gives the inside scoop about Australian reality/competition TV, the evicted housemate causes trouble in their wake, and our opinions on Todd take a sharp left (but how long does it last?). Also, a new task prompts us to tell a shared tale from our past, and Blair is the saviour of the chickens.

”i’m sorry to his girlfriend” (week 3 and nominations)
Another week, another task! This time the housemates have to learn and perform circus tricks, but can they stop clowning around long enough to do so? We also witness the aftermath of the eviction, see who is up for nominations this time, and the worst person you know makes a valid point.

”a root before i pulled” (uncut)
In this 18+ edition of TTDR we read out some listener anecdotes and Maryanne tells a disgusting housemate story. The Uncut episode we cover is co-hosted by most recent evictee, Andy, who lets everyone in on all the things we didn't get to see. If you've ever wanted to hear four grown men have a casual discussion about self-pleasure and see Gretel Killeen get whipped in a pleather skirt, then you can't miss this one.

”threes and fours” (uncut and saturday show)
You didn't think we would skip the special episodes, did you? It's like you don't even know us. In this minisode we cover the inaugural episode of Big Brother Uncut, where for some reason we watch the housemates shower, and listen to them discuss everything they can't air on the daily shows. We also cover the Saturday special where we meet some weird radio DJ running a campaign to save Andy, and hear what the public thinks of the housemates. Also Rove McManus provides a sound bite, because why not i guess!

”it’s time to go” (week 2 and eviction)
The housemates have a new task, but have they failed on the first day? We also see the fallout from nominations, two housemates have birthdays, they all put on a very bad talent show, and someone is evicted.

”how you doin’?” (week 1 and nominations)
The first week in the Big Brother house is all about getting to know each other, and the first task is designed to help with exactly that. Our new friends do their first grocery order, have their first emergency exit, and participate in their first nominations round.
Who would we nominate and why? You'll find out!
(Please note: In this episode we had some microphone issues. These are cleared up part way through this episode, at which point all audio becomes crystal clear. Thanks for bearing with us!)

”raging hetero” (day 1 launch 2001)
In our first episode we meet the very first housemates in Big Brother Australia history and make our initial assessments. Having seen this series when it aired but being too young to be the target audience, we discuss what we remember of the housemates and the house. There's also some gushing about Gretel Killeen.
(Please note: In this episode we had some microphone issues. These are cleared up part way through episode two, at which point all audio becomes crystal clear. Thanks for bearing with us!)
