About Maybe This Is How It Starts

Welcome to Mija, Stay Mad! — a podcast dedicated to slowing down, reflection, and redefining freedom on your own terms. Here, we honor the power of our own stories as growth, while staying mad enough to fiercely pursue what truly makes us free and happy. Hosted by Vee, Mija, Stay Mad! blends storytelling, reflection, and candid conversation to inspire those ready to rewrite their narrative, honor their own pace, and stay committed to their unique journey toward freedom and fulfillment. After a year of experimenting with healing on the original podcast, Maybe This Is How It Starts, regulated our nervous system through unconventional methods in mental health. We return in the midst of midlife, sharing what life has been, is and is expected to become. Mija, one day you’ll be my age, and I’ll be your ancestor. Until then — Stay mad. Stay soft. Stay free. ___________________________________ Vee Sanchez is a storyteller, humanist, naturist and unconventional mental health advocate. She loves people. Maybe This Is How It Starts- Final Episode (Season 1)

Maybe This Is How It Starts- The Podcast-- project put together during COVID proved to be a personal research into unconventional mental health methodologies. The original idea was sharing my personal story of how I dug deep into unconventional mental health and how it helped me transition into a life of emotional regulation. But I was having so much fun that I forgot to share my story. Season 1 allowed me to connect with so many professionals, both conventional and unconventional, all across the country. I want to thank them and thank the coaches and colleagues who helped me put this little podcast together. It was a dream of mine. Season 2 will definitely be more human and hands-on. See you then!

The BIG rReset: How rRest Therapy help me restart with Danielle Y

Through a mutual friend and in the midst of COVID, I connected with Danielle. Through her, rRest proved to be a hypnotic method that allowed me to regulate a troubled nervous system. Danielle Yuhasz is the founder of Rise and Glow Coaching LLC and a certified Intuitive Healing Coach in the rREST® Technique. She helps clients process unprocessed emotions associated with PTSD and past trauma, using the brain’s natural ability for neuroplasticity to create new emotional patterns. Through transformational life coaching, she guides clients in identifying deeply held emotional responses, releasing outdated stress patterns, and recalibrating their nervous system. Her approach blends intuitive guidance, neuroscience-informed techniques, and the rREST® methodology to help clients feel grounded, empowered, and aligned with their authentic selves.
